Her peppy voice is how she acts normally, she just wasn't feeling well enough before being saved by everyone. I remember some Persona fans have the opinion that Rise is a “thot.” I respectfully disagree! Rise Kujikawa’s character can be likened to, say, actresses or even models, who more likely have to put up with the kinda shit Rise does: being put on a pedestal, people only seeing and liking the image she offers instead of the real person, etc. Rise’s Shadow is RISE not knowing who she is anymore (I’d argue the Animation version fleshes that out more than the game does). All of this being said, it makes sense why Rise is the lovers archetype; women of that caliber (especially models) are very feminine and prefer that their looks not be the only thing guys appreciate.

Hell at one point the normally stoic Naoto is tripping over herself and is flustered/blushing beyond all belief because he said a few nice words to her in the hospital with Nanako. However, Yu is the ultimate Chad. In fact, he's so much a next-level chad that he _doesn't bother dating any of them at all_ . He just leaves them all wanting.

You may like Rise or not, but she is the only true romance in the game, you never have an instance for love to be developed with the other girls, at least nothing meaningful. You only have a certain type of interactions with both Yukiko and Chie, is almost like you're not even there, you just say stuff like 'I support you" and/or "I like you" With Rise you have all sort of interactions, fun and boring, happy and sad, etc. you get to know her better, so is not strange for the mc to ended up being much closer to her. This is all tied up very well at that certain point in the game where Rise has a breakdown, at that point, if you choose to let her know you're there for her is not a "I like you wanna be my gf?" moment, no, you're not doing it bc you like her, but bc you actually want her to be ok, and that's romance for you. (I don't even count Naoto bc the mc wants her to be different, and that means he literally doesn't like her)

i love ann and all shes a great character but, out of all the 3 lovers arcanas, doesnt she seem the least like one? the lovers arcanas have traits that really define their arcana in their own way. yukari desires love more than anyone in SEES, she doesnt want to be alone, and she loves makoto. rise is really flirty, seductive and clearly likes yu ann deserves her spot as the lovers arcana too, but its the least obvious. her traits are that shes a beauty and is like a model or something, but she doesnt really seem flirty and is isnt in love with ren. i guess out of all the lovers, shes kind of the most about the sexiness?
