Wow, nice video. Those two pod engines don't look like the original -9, or even -11, maybe #2 as well. Love to be back an FE to be in this beauty. I hope she still around in 2022.

Good observation. Engines 1 and 3 are JT9D-217s commonly found on the MD-80 and MD-90 series. These engines are part of what makes a Super 27 a Super 27 (that and the winglets). Engine 2 is from the original JT9D series as the 217s are too big to fit in the tail-cone.

Great video, thanks very much. Air Canada bought some of the st stretched 727-200's and used them extensively city to city in Canada. I remember there were 3 Ottawa to Toronto flights every morning to get hi-tech and government people to their location. With extra attendants on staff they were able in 1 hour to serve everyone a poached egg on toast breakfast with orange juice coffee hot buns the works and to have it cleaned up and ready to land on the short flight. This is what business flying was all about. Compared to now it was first class

That taxi on the runway was really friggin' quick! And the dust, as you said, really kicked up. I never knew Fry's offered charters (well, this plane at least). Interesting how this plane goes about. Awesome upload! :)

I don't like the Super 27s because they have the quieter JT8D-219 engines which aren't too impressive. I would prefer the older JT8D-1 through -17s which are at least twice as loud as the decade newer -219s since there Stage III noise unlike the JT8D-1 through -17s being Stage II. The center engine is still a JT8D-9 but has a hush kit that still is making more racket then the -219s!
