From my understanding they are supposed to be the same in cutting and polishing. The difference is the protection left behind with the HD SPEED.

I as well as my customers are beyond satisfied with the results of HD Speed. Its a no brainer. Orange cutting pad if you want a little cut with nice shine, or a black/white finishing pad to get the swirl filling capabilities. I use Lake County foam pads. Either way, great gloss and the end and i never get tired of seeing customers faces when i give the vehicle back. 👍
@Erix78104 жыл бұрын
Wayne Bauer Me too, unless it’s a customer that specifically wants a heavy duty wax applied, my package is always HDSpeed. It’s a no brainer like you said. I get away with two section passes and customers are thrilled.

I have always been an HD Speed guy. It's easy paint correction! But I keep hearing great things about TW One and Done . Have you used it? If so, what is your perspective on it compared to these two all-in-one's?
@jdisdetermined5 жыл бұрын
Big 3D One fan, very pad dependent, but can really do it all. Great for beginners and DIY detailers as well. But throw on a uro-fiber 50/50 and you have a *very* good one step combo. 👍👌✌
@autodetailingpodcast5 жыл бұрын
That’s a great combo for sure

Keith Olsen perfect, thank you for this info. Have you ever used Mckees 37 360 all in one? Just wondering how it would compare to the 3D HD Speed all in one. Thx again.
@jdisdetermined5 жыл бұрын
@@tundrawhisperer4821 no problem! I haven't used the McKee's all in one, but I definitely wouldn't be afraid of it. They make a couple products I use almost every day. It should produce results very similar to Speed. 👍👌✌

Even if very similar I still like to have a option that doesnt leave protection so I could choose my own protection. Only thing I dont like about HD speed protection doesnt last long.

Sounds like these aren't the same product type. All-in-one vs a Compound/polish hybrid. ALSO, you don't seem to know what sponsored means. Them sending you product means it's sponsored, regardless of what you say about it.

Regardless of what the product is called if they work and act the same they are more similar then you think.

The "alumina" is aluminium oxide abrasives. It has slightly lower amount of abrasives in it compared with some other products but a heap of dearomatised kerosene. Kero is often used in compounds to soften the paint to make it remove the paint defects quicker. At least it wont smell. Has plenty of water in it about same percent as the kerosene.

I haven’t tried 3D 1 yet however I don’t think HD speed is worth anything. I would rather use a good polish like griots then do a basic ceramic coat application after. The extra 30 min of work would yield better results. It will make you look good and your customer happier.

EVERYONE WHO IS SAYING "use a black car" Seriously dont even touch a DA polisher cause you obviously dont know what to look for I see a massive difference i do see that it didnt remove the scratches but it brought back the gloss Its not an amazing gloss but like he said its a bad respray and thats what youre gonna get The edges of the light he is using is a bit more crisp and clear The clarity of the light reflection is a bit hazy so this stuff is basically a lipstick on a pig and doesnt work nearly as good as sonax perfect finish 4 cut / 6 finish which lasts as long as you protect it throw a IGL ceramic coating over it and you have a car that will gloss for several years

You're going to use a product like these based on the autos paint defects. Customers budget. Time etc. If you have more scratches, swirls, time and money then you'll go with the 3 step process. There's so many ways to do this. I prefer showing someone the results from the chemicals and explaining the time and cost while showing the results. It's just up to the person with the wallet haha

@theoneders20566 жыл бұрын
If your customer called you cause your work rinsed away in the rain then you don't know how to properly work the product in. Every single time I do a test spot with Speed, there is no change and no defects "come back". Also, if you actually saw the video above you'll see Jimbo did a wipe down and nothing came back. There is plenty of evidence out there showing Speed can do some correction even if just mild/medium. If you're expecting it to cut like a compound then your expectations need adjustment.
