This video was really helpful. Thanks for sharing. Now if you allow me, I can share my understanding on some of your questions - although it's been 8 years already... In first place, regarding the gear number, you can follow the option "9EAr" (it looks like "GEAr" in the handbook) in the menu (SETUP MENU) and select the appropriate option for your motorcycle (either “P-883-” or "PrESEt" for original HDs or "LEArn" for custom motorcycles). The other topic is the 60-25-25, which is helpful for evaluating performance, as I understand (0-60 MPH, Quarter Mile Time and Quarter Mile Speed). I am still going to try some of these instructions on my own bike.

its saying that youre in 4th because the rpm is high. when the rpm drops it thinks youre in 5 th because the rpms are lower then the rpms go back up and it thinks youre in 4th. great video man. seriously enjoyed it. very welll done

Dude, I am not sure about other bikes. You better ask manufacturer what bikes it fits.

It can but you’ll need to find a speedo housing for it. I think they are 3 3/8th inch. They have a couple different speed sensors you can buy seperately to run to thr rear belt/chain sprocket for custom applications.

Man, I bouht it on ebay many years ago and cannot find it in history. All what I find is model of this gauge - Dakota Digital MCL-3200 Series Direct Plug-In Speedometer/Tachometer - Blue LED MCL-3204. Hope it will help you.

Man, I don't remember exact DOM but, I bought this bike in 2013 and it was 3 or 2 years old. So I think it was manufactured in 2011.
