Thanks for this series HD. I left the game after WoL but still watch games like these and it is great that you casts them in such video quality and passion.

Additionally, comparing pure ling to pure marine, yes the barracks will begin to pass the larva production at around the 3m mark (zerg is fractionally ahead up until that point by about 1 supply), but once you move past those basic units it becomes more of a toss-up, due to longer production times. At that point queens are out, inject becomes a factor, etc, however.

Wow that was the best comeback I've ever seen! StarCraft 2 is finally starting to mature into what the original StarCraft became.

This was Jaedong showing the world he can now handle Toss all-ins. So awesome to see. Probably about the same time as he forgot how to stomp Terrans.

No, he actually has it memorized. He writes it on the walls of his padded cell every day while rocking back and forth in a fetal position.

The DONG strikes again! It was so incredible I had to watch this game twice.
@wumpusrat11 жыл бұрын
As for #1, that's actually not true. Hatcheries at 350 minerals are the equal of two (naked) barracks, which can produce two marines every 25 seconds (or reapers if you want to wait 40). A larvae is spawned from a hatchery every 15, meaning a new unit can be started every 15 seconds. A hatch will (though slowly) outproduce a pair of barracks over time. Adding in the queen to inject drastically outstrips three barracks, unless you add reactors, which means they cost a good bit more.

range is so important in this game, dps of melee units drops so much if the target is moving. Jeodong lost 2nd game because he tried to use ultralisks but didnt support them with infestors. But he could have won easily with keep producing roach/hyrdas+vipers.
@pawacoteng11 жыл бұрын
he's referring to baiting out the forcefields against the small amount of roaches at MC's third then sandwiching the zealots between those FF and stalkers with his hydra flank
@wumpusrat11 жыл бұрын
Well, if you start taking other factors into account (such as the spawning pool, etc), then you have to start taking into account things like addons, which pushes the terran production costs higher (primarily due to the gas required). When you're discussing pure "unit production" I'm assuming they're talking about JUST combat units, not splitting between drones and combat units, otherwise yes, a single non-injected hatch isn't going to compete with two rax + CC. It would be silly if it could.
@poppanaattori8911 жыл бұрын
Agreed. To make it even more blatant, he has written that same exact comment in HD's casts before.

the battle at 13:00 was amazing for zerg because the zealots wernt able to do anything due to the force fields beautiful.
I honestly don't think it matters what game he casts. So what if other casters have already done it? I enjoy seeing how each caster takes it. Besides some games are so awesome they are worth watching again. Don't complain.

If anyone has ever tried transfusing Roaches, then you know how difficult it is... when all MC had to do was micro his stalkers back and forth and focus fire.

Agreed. I'm an adult (23) and i prefer Husky to Hd. mostly because of his goofiness and sense of humor. But even if i really like him, it sometimes really annoys me to see him miss an awesome play or a counter attack. Not long ago I watched cast by Grubby and noticed HUGE difference in game knowledge and map awareness.

Actually if you look at 2 things: 1 - MC carelessly lost his Core at the beginning 2 - JD already had Roach-speed upgrade almost done (if not completely done already when the fight started) Protoss wouldn't have had a way to retreat unless sack there all the army.. Supeerb close battle though..

I disagree... I love both HD and Husky, and watch both of their casts on a regular basis. Often times I find HD casting games Husky has already cast, and while that is no fault of either, early bird gets the worm, I feel that's a testament that both castors have a professional sense of what the creme of the crop games are out there. While I agree Husky is more entertaining and less professional, I feel that in no way invalidates or makes his comments any less professional as far as content.

Yes, Zerg is definitely Over Powered 1) Zerg can produce many units at once with just 1 building 2) That units cost a joke and make OP damage 3) Zerg units don't need much supply, so Zerg can spam units like hell - even in EARLY game!! ..that's bad balance at all -.-
