the overlay at dreamhack was slightly different. If you want to see the difference, go check on the MLG channel, they have toons of replay from this weekend. I beleive I've seen that kind of overlay elsewhere, sadly i dont remember where...

by the way, i just found a great video on how to change the UI when in observer mode. Just search on youtube "how to install custom observer interfaces". There is an option in the game to change that, this video will tell you how you can do it. It's pretty simple, there are UI already existing you can download or you can create your own UI which is more complicated but still possible.

They didn't replace the lurker, banelings did. Lurker was our main AoE damage weapon, and counter to marine medic. I don't think SH are OP nor UP, but it's true what Zeratul723 says, the game would be more interesting without the SH, and would still be balanced. Sorry if my english isn't very good.

This is basically a game of third base snipe, and Jaedong won that due to muta. Meaning the meta game still doesn't change at all in ZvZ even with the spore buff.

Stephano waited soooo long to use all of his gas early in the game. He hovered over a thousand for several minutes as Jaedong's mutas were coming out. I don't know if he didn't have the larva for infestors or what, but pretty big mistake...

Swarm hosts are the long desired replacement for the lurker. Ever since the Lurker was removed from Broodwar, the Zerg have lacked a long range "siege" unit that Terran and Protoss have. Colossus can walk up and down cliffs and over units. Siege tanks have the longest range and do massive damage in both forms. Swarm hosts spawn free units and have a period where they are totally useless. Tower defense? Go around or go air. SH = useless

The game was already over at the 10 minute mark (game time) when Stephano decided to go infestors instead of mutalisks. I can't understand why he did that now when Blizzard has nerfed infestors to hell and buffed mutas.

Yea .. The Muta play is becoming more popular again after the big buff off spores maybe he should have gone mutas aswell if you can't connect your third with creep and lock it down with spines and spores as not muta player you have a big problem because you just can't fight mutas at the early stages

Which surprised the Hell out of me as (at least according to MLG) he outranks JD globally by a fair deal. They're both really good players, but damn JD just took him to task - I figured Stehano was done the moment he went for Infestors - between the muta buffs & fungal nerfs, infestors are just a bad idea t counter mutas. Gotta either get your own, or make Hydras. Or at the very least, had he thrown up a bunch of spores at each base he would have saved himself a lot of headaches as they 3shot

mutas, default play?!?! What are you smoking HD, obviously you don't know how the meta game has shifted since last patch... Spores do so much damage now to muta that a lot of players don't use them anymore. But it is true that Jaydong still plays with muta and he's realy good with it. Your comment about players experimenting with swarm host is because meta game right now is more roach/hydra in the mid game, so swarm host can be good against that composition...
