(HD Version) Searching for a Landscape, Ep1 Through Ranges Sad and Beautiful

High Definition version of the original video. The original was in low resolution so this version will be much nicer to watch on a large screen. The crisper images do justice to the beautiful Flinders Ranges in the north of South Australia.
I'm riding south, following the Mawson Trail, through an outback landscape of red mountains, dry creek beds and small towns. It is where I grew up in the early 1960s. I went back on a long bike ride, looking for a good photograph and a poem or two out there on the trail. I wasn't expecting my family history to impact so much on the story. Through Ranges Sad and Beautiful is a film about a journey, a landscape, family and the power of memory.
