No we are not brothers or sisters, a Sunni is Sunni, a Shia is Shia and a Sufi is Sufi...there are differences. The Sunni follow the Sunnah (the way) of Prophet Muhammad (saw). The Shia are a sect and have created innovations that are not part of the deen of Allah (swt) or the sunnah of the Prophet (saw). The sufi again follow a different way out of alignment with Islam. We are not brothers or sisters until they have submitted to Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw).

Alhumdulillah there are sufi and shia that utter those words. The next step is to practice them. Firstly, I have never heard of sects in the Sunni community, you either follow the way of Prophet Muhammad (saw) or not...the or not's make up the sects. Second, we take our Islam from the Qur'an AND the Sunnah (comprised of his (saw) sayings and actions). Also you cannot be a Shia of the Sunnah. Thirdly, the Shia hate Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and A'isha (ra) especially.

This is not how the story went with Amr ibn Wud and when Ali ibn Abi Talib a.s slept in the bed of Rasool Allah s.a.w. Rasool Allah never told him nothing will happen. Its obviously not a shaikh telling this story because its very inaccurate.

This is wrong for the speaker to say Ali karramallahu wajhu. This is the corrupted statement of the Shia who single out Ali amongst all the sahaabah. We should call him Ali radiyallaahu 'anhu. to say karramallahu wajhu, there is no basis for this in islam. If there is, bring the proof if you are truthful. And dun follow the ahlul bi'dah.. The speaker should get educated on this. May Allah forgive us and guide us.
