One of kind . There will never be another entertainer like Elvis. I don't think Elvis really knew what he had and the effect that he had on his fans. It was different from all those snobby people in Hollywood. It was just a southern boy with a beautiful voice and was raised with respecting his elders and loved his country. 🎉🎉. That's why I love Elvis he was just down to earth. Then Hollywood got a hold of him and he ended up going down the wrong road for a long time but I believe that God turned him around in the end. Rest in peace EP. ❤❤❤❤

Dodie Marshall, the gorgeous drummer in the great, movie-finishing rocker “I’ll Be Back” is so sexy! And she is playing the heck out of those drums, and stealing Elvis’ thunder, if that’s possible! I love the looks she gives Elvis during the song. She may not have been the actual drummer on the recording, but she played along perfectly regardless. Gorgeous!

Yes Larry, the Elvis gospel music is among my all time favorite. You can really hear the passion and respect he had for GOD and JESUS when he sang those songs. Songs like Hound dog and All shook-up are great, but did you ever hear Elvis sing How great thou art live? Oh my GOD, his voice is explosive!!!!!

Hi Michelle, I just came across your sight in the last couple of day's. There are some great Elvis channels out there and you have just joined them. What a breath of fresh Air you are, you convey your enthusiasm straight away and we are carried along with it. Well done you. You have given your Favourite Elvis Movies but what about your least favourite. Don't let the movie be saved by a song but rather by how Good or Poor you thought it was. Mine is The Bottom of the Barrel Harem Holiday and Paradise Hawaiian Style. As I say a couple of Standout songs in both films. Hope my honesty doesn't get me Slaughtered.

RCA Victor actually tried to nominate this song for an Academy Award, probably as a stroke to the King who was tired of lackluster films. It did NOT get nominated, but rock songs weren't being seriously considered. Sure, nominees Alfie and Georgy Girl came out the same year and were top chart hits, but the winner of 1966 was Born Free, a bigger moneymaker. 1967 gave it to Talk to the Animals from Dr. Doolitle (along with best SFX) - which was more of a nod to categories Doolittle would lose. (The other two big contenders in '67 were the Bare Necessities from Jungle Book and the title theme from Thoroughly Modern Millie.) The last 'rock-ish' song to be nominated was Town Without Pity by Gene Pitney. The 70s would do better, nominating the Theme from Shaft (winner) and Live and Let Die. The true tragedy here is why Love Me Tender or Trouble wasn't nominated!
