@cred_entho First of all you just understand HDMI earc support more audio bandwidth as compare to HDMI arc. it will also support on dolby atmos when you connect HDMI earc to HDMI arc it will work like HDMI arc to HDMI arc connection. You can connect from HDMI arc to HDMI earc or vice versa you will not feel more difference in dolby digital content.

Hello Sir. I need ur help urgently. My YAMAHA YHT 299 Amplifier is connected to 5.1 speakers via HDMI. It was working fine till Sunday however my electrician had just placed the wire from behind the TV to set it internally however post reconnection I see that my Amplifier which is connected to TV HDMI 3 is not not working. I even tried replacing the HDMI cable and changing HDMI ports too but it's not working. Kindly advise what could have gone wrong and what settings can be made manually.
