И все же, сравнивать попсу и рок - это не очень правильно. Хотя в целом, нельзя не согласиться с тем, что в то время музыка в принципе была в тысячи раз лучше, особенно рок. 💪🏻

I'm 64 now I listened pink Floyd for the first time when I was 18. I realized the phrase that you say at 35 and I understand the part that says "sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older". Yes, the sun is still the same, and now I'm older, my parents have passed away, many of my friends too. It's sad but is reality. But you don't get it until sometimes it's too late.

I was 13 years old when I bought this album on cassette. It was 1980. The music blew my mind. I'm 53 now. A song I've known all of my life now makes me weep. I didn't really understand the lyrics as a kid, now it is the story of my life. It's become a difficult listen. I'm a literature teacher, 20 years in. I look at my pupils and think, you have no idea, young lad/lass, what you are facing. this song is genius at work.

Courtesy of the echo effect of the ol' ' Binson Echorec ' that Pink Floyd has become famous for incorporating into many of their songs. Glimour was not the only member who used the device as Rogers used it as an effect on his Bass and Wright on his keyboard and synthesizers. The Echorec's are fantastic echo devices but hard to maintain if you can get your hands on an original one. However, their are modern day replicas of the Binson Echorec by Dawner Prince of Croatia who make the ' Boonar' which in my opinion is the best duplication currently on market. My second choice would be the ' Echorec' effects pedal made by Catalinbread in Seattle, Washington, USA.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day Fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown Waiting for someone or something to show you the way Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long, and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say Home, home again I like to be here when I can And when I come home cold and tired It's good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spells

Почувствуйте сочность вступления этой легендарной вещи. Завораживающе-космическое начало. Так может только Pink Floyd - больше никто. Это классика рок-музыки, которая одинаково слушается, как молодыми, так и пожилыми.

2019 "Time" Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older Shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time is gone, the song is over, thought I'd something more to say Home, home again I like to be here when I can When I come home cold and tired It's good to warm my bones beside the fire Far away, across the field The tolling of the iron bell Calls the faithful to their knees To hear the softly spoken magic spell

when you are young and riding around partying at the age of seventeen those lyrics don't mean much. When you are older you realize your mortality and what you should have done. But then you learn to be happy with what you have.

"The Dark Side of the Moon" перевернул всё в рок-музыке на 180 градусов. Конечно, немалая заслуга в том не только талантливых музыкантов из PF, но и звукорежиссёра и продюсера Алана Парсонса, долгих лет ему жизни.

Это мировая прогрессив рок группа которая побила все рекорды в истории рок музыки
Every summer from the mid 80's to early 90's we would travel to Lake Powell in southern Utah, had an awesome stereo in my ski boat, Dark Side of the Moon was a staple that had to be played at night, crank up the stereo and listen to it echo off the water and the canyon walls was the best! One trip in particular stands out, we were beached up a side canyon with 300 foot tall cliffs on both sides, started listening to this album and a thunderstorm rolled thru, great music and a light show provided by Mother Nature, it was epic!
