Something I like about Rina's is that the bangboo/puppets are under her control and despite them trying to catch her, they too also died given you can literally see them both fall to the ground at the end of the animation. For a game that's pretty PG, the details are pretty gnarly, it's really neat

It would be realistic and impressive if the fuel tank on her flamethrower exploded and she was covered in flames, but I think it would be a very heavy scene.

The Rina one takes the cake for me. Having her try to comfort one of the bangboos while the other tries to keep her from collapsing, until she does, just wow. Really shows how luch they care about eachother

My favorites have to by Lucy, Jane, Burnice, and Solider 11/Nekomata I love the way Lucy grabs her bat, tying to use it to hold her upright to no avail. Jane’s pose at the end looks like a curled up rat. Unsure if that was intentional, but I took her death animation as she is finally able to rest. Burnice just hurts to such an energetic character fall limply to the ground and her voice line just breaks my heart hearing how doubtful and hopeless she sounds. I really love the way Soldier 11 and Neko holds their wounds. More with 11 I think the detail of her partially let go of her wound in an attempt to stable herself only for it to not work is such a great touch. The death animations are so great, but these just personally stuck out to me.

Something I like about zenless is the fact that all the characters have unique animations, in a game like genshin for example, all of the animations are static and are used by all the characters, in this game, they are all unique

Dislike me if you please, I want to be clear. They don't die. They are incapacitated/knocked out. Hence, why every trade-in voice line is so nonchalant about them falling. Just so you know. And I know most people know that, but not everyone does.
