CAD is basically Homestuck if it was Garfield Yume Nikki is a 2004 rpg where a girl named Madotsuki explores the bizarre worlds of her dreams, collecting various abilities that allow her to better traverse & interact with these dream worlds. There is a house with a flippable light switch. There is a small chance that, the first time you turn out the lights each time you enter, the room will change. You cannot leave nor turn the lights back on, & Uboa will be there. Interacting with them will send you to a weird new area that you cannot leave. You either have to pinch yourself awake or teleport out with one of the abilities.

Yeah not long ago I was given context for the Loss comic and it felt kinda bad to be mocking Loss now because in context it was actually sad. Like dude was excited to have a kid and all, it was a whole actual story. It wasn't just a funny comic, there was weird stuff at the start but it wasn't just that.

I recommend looking it up. I thought that's mostly what it was about too, but apparently yhe autho had been having his head up his own behind for a while when it came to his comic and on top of that, he wrote a whole rant that was very insensitive towards his girlfriend under the post. And finally, the whole comic is just very... awkward. For example, the character doesn't even comfort his girlfriend. It's a whole mess.
