Supi records a "speedrun" series, where he begins a new account and tries to win back a high ELO ranking. The way he explains the opponent's moves, even when it is a 1000 ELO probably doing some random move shows how humble he is and how much respect he always has for the opponent and the game. He always tries to consider what are the opponent's intentions/plans. Of course naturally he would do that in an instant, and he explains for the sake of the audience, but I believe it still shows some of his mindset. He is a very chill guy

Hello, GothamChess, all right? I'm Brazilian and I love attacking in chess. But I am no great master or master. I believe I have the potential to be a good GM like Supi, but I don't have anyone to train me. I'm a father with three kids and no time for nothing. I love sacrificing plays and ignoring opponents' attack, just like Paul Morphy did. I believe Supi thinks and plays the same way. It calculates whether the opponent's attack is faster and more lethal than his. If so, he defends himself, if not, he continues his plan of attack. I also think that Supi thinks like Kasparov (that's what I believe too): "The best way to play is always looking for initiative." Always try to coordinate your pieces and prepare them for a powerful and indenfensible attack (especially if it is in the opponent's castle). Sacrifice is the best way to open lines of attack on the opponent's field (especially in quick matches). Supi believes that, and so do I, well before I met him I'd ever played like this, but on a level well below. Supi, like me, attacked in the same style as the final battle of the movie Ender's Game. We sacrificed everything to get a victory in the end.

I haven't played chess since as a kid, didn't had anybody to teach me, so I completely suck at this. But his line of thinking is absolutely beautiful.

If Brazil took chess seriously the world would have thousands of Supis and Krikors. At least one of them would be candidates at this point, for sure.

So nice of you to features Supi. He is a nice guy and does a lot for the chess in the Brazilian community! He, Krikor, Rafa Chess, Molina to name a few. Hopefully chess is becoming stronger here thanks to people like them and like you, Levy, for those fortunate enough to understand English 💪💪

nowadays is common knowledge that if you want to have a lot of engagement on your video, or you make a video saying nice things about Brazilians, summoning the comments, or you make some video saying bad things, but that is risky because you might never be able to get us to stop trolling your comment section anymore lol

To dedicate an entire video to a rival like that is the definition of elegancy.

at 16:30 you can defend the pawn... by gaining his pawn as well, you jsut need bishop g3, even if he takes your pawn at g2 and attacks your rook you take his pawn on e5 with the rook and get the exchange done, even after captures are done the bishop takes the rook and gets to attack the other isolated pawn. in a way I think that destroys his main advantage on the pawn structure there.

In the second game you beat Supi. In yesterday’s video Supi beat Magnus Carlsen. Magnus is the world champion. Levy should be the world champion.

Wonderful video Levy! Amazing games. But more than that is how you conduct the games with joy, humility and respect. I'm a big fan of both of you! Keep doing wonderful videos!
