Does love has to hurt? Does it have to cause pain? Does it have to bring so much sorrow? What is love anyway?
The story of Cynthia makes one ask so many questions relating to matters love. She has gone through physical and emotional abuse, went through brain edema, almost paralyzed for life and nearly lost her life, all in the name of love. However, she has raised above the scars and courageously tells her story so that others may learn from her.

Hi my name is Isaac and I live in the UK. I've always enjoyed your shows and this one is so touching, she is really a blessed woman. NOTE: Sometimes when the conversation is touching then guess switch to Swahili then I miss the points because I don't understand Swahili. But this one no Swahili and I have enjoyed every bits of the it. Cynthia God richly you and give you the man after his own heart.

Lessons learned; 1. Children are unique. 2. Obey your parents. 3. Marry right on a godly foundation. 4. Don't look for love in a human being. 5. There's a difference between loving someone and being possessed with love. 5. Narcissists partners are real and addicted to drama. 6. Responsible parents do everything to make their children better. 7. In-laws can be cruel sometime. 8. It's good to speak up when going through tough times. Etc etc etc

Good student now just be fair with yourself as a Christian use your checklists to analyze your family dad and mum specific, CORRECT where necessary. Before you start setting standards for other young men around demonizing them.

14 likes ahhhh. I am sorry to say there must be a funeral in a good many Christian girls before God consider them potential marriage candidates to our brothers, we shall have to bury their ego, entitlement self-centred attitude so deep that it will never have any resurrection again in their life. The last thing to be found in any child of God is pride, you can’t just brand any child of God (Youngman) Narcistics. Take time study and pray about 1 Corinthians 7 if you care to listen my good friend. Then come to the real world of where sinners saved by grace dwell, stop living in Utopia world like you have been brought up in a perfect family. If that so then stay with your parents don’t marry !! but don’t call others Narcists. You have no clue silent battles people go through in life!!

That's so true the story is just all over the place. The storyteller is not chronological too she talks of her baby daddy then goes back to when she was 17 then there was a man visiting her at the hospital....... I think the main issue is that the interviewer has no listening skills like you pointed out. Lynn is really good at it. Thanks 👍

I am trying really hard to empathize BUT, so he beats you up repeatedly, he chokes u to the point of death & then you fight to reduce his sentence? And then follow the same abuser back to Kenya? Really? After your parents spent money on you for education?

Abusers don't get only physical but also engage in emotional and psychological abuse . She was victimized severely and lost the insight of her strength. It takes a lot of effort for the true self to emerge from the mire and mock of abuse. Please don't blame the victim.
