Wow! That woman who saved the woman and her baby needed a raise. Knowing that there was probably a capable man just laying in bed listening to this horror unfold and feeling it too much trouble to get up and help, makes me sick. Also, there's no security for this poor young woman. I can't even imagine knowing you're pretty much helpless in a fight against a man. At least she had her wits and got to safety.

The story about the psychiatrist.... it's so true that people don't think about you or talk about a person and what they were like or what they must've been going thru until it's too late. People don't give a second thought about a person when they are still alive and could really use someone to talk to. It would be really nice if someone would just ask Hey how are you doing?.... and REALLY mean it! It's such an automatic thing to ask but it doesn't mean anything. People dont even wait for you to answer before they're on to the next thing. That is, when they even ask at all! Cuz they don't care, they're just being polite. Sometimes , politeness kills. I would rather someone be rude and get personal with me than to be so polite that they don't ask me anything about myself! POLITENESS KILLS, PEOPLE!!!! I've felt invisible my whole life. Like the word INVISIBLE is tattooed on my fkn forehead! Coming from a person who has miserablely fallen thru the cracks of her family, DON'T WAIT, ASK QUESTIONS!!!!! 😿

I quite agree.. I don’t really have friends, just acquaintances, the reason being , most people are only interested in talking about themselves . As for asking how you are , and not even wait for an answer , truly tells you so much about that person..

I completely 100% understand where you're coming from and I completely agree that politeness is not helpful. I have brain cancer and the amount of friends including my significant other that have dumped me to deal with this on my own is insane people don't want to look at or interact with anything uncomfortable.

I HATE when kids don’t report adults who prey on them. That the cop did that so easily implies that he did it before. I get the kid was in a weird situation, but he could have at least told his parents. Cops aren’t any different from anyone; they’re just as likely to be predators and criminals as anyone else, and many are attracted to the work as a power trip and a shield. They get away with so much sėxual abuse that, if we knew the extent, we’d be (more) afraid of them. A lot of sėx workers and homeless people can tell you tales of their degeneracy because they’re preyed on a lot.
@thegirlvictoria408

I couldn’t believe what I herd once he offered him the ride home. Your so right I wish the kid would’ve spoken up but dispute everything he had just went through the just got accused of entering a home & now this? It broke my heart once he said he just cried after seeing the officer doing that. Like how sick is that officer he’s suppose to protect he took a oath and he’s getting off on little boys? Completely agree he’s done this before. Witch makes it worse how many others has he traumatized.
@chleorrrrnorrrrr2915
@chleorrrrnorrrrr2915 9 ай бұрын
The fact that you tried proving your point by victim blaming. 🤡🤡 “he could have at least told his parents” like that makes it any better? He was probably afraid his parents wouldn’t believe him, like the majority of kids that are victim to predators. If you did research you’d see that. Grown ass adults are afraid to report things like that, you hold a child to a higher standard though? Like it was his fault he didn’t report? Weird. Don’t teach your kids to be afraid to tell you anything, you’re on the right track to that already.

The story at 39:18 really caught me off guard- My family goes to visit Island Park Idaho pretty much every year, and I also had a very similar experience out on Henry's Lake. My uncle, my grandpa and I were all fishing on his boat when we noticed dark clouds beginning to gather on the horizon. The storm hit just shy of 10 minutes after we spotted it, and we got stranded in the swampy marsh like area on the shore until the storm ended. The boat had filled with water even though it was pulled ashore, and they had to take apart my tacklebox to get the water out when the storm had calmed enough for us to get back to the docks. It was pretty scary, but it didn't deter me from going fishing in that same boat on that same lake, but I'll never go out there if it's too dark.

“ I heard them screaming but I didn’t wanna get out of bed” Wtf ! People suck! You could get out of bed to be nosy 🧐 and gossip though! I’ve been in domestic college situations before and it’s assistantship and disgusting how people act. I’ve been told to shut the f*** yup! I’ve been dragged down the street kicking and screaming while people just watched with no cat. And so on. So disgusting. That hotel desk lady was a hero! She did the right thing . Difficult and she’s lucky she’s fine. But heroic.

Just to let people know. 50% chance of rain isn’t a thing. It’s actually a common misconception that it’s a chance when in actuality. There telling you the coverage of the area. So 50% means half the area.

There are two types of people in this world: the type that faces fear square in the face and the kind that would rather listen to people being assaulted than to bother getting out of bed.

If you think that drawing is scary you ought to see a real one. There's a reason why you won't find anyone on the reservation that goes walking or hiking at night

The Island Park one made me so mad. You are o the water I the Rockies. You SEE a Thunder head coming and decide to keep your family in a boat "10 more minutes." We require licenses for cars and let any idiot out in a boat. Your BIL should have said, "Nope," and headed ashore. People die in boats just for this exact reason. Glad you learned, but still upset that you learned at the cost of your family's memory of that day. I had an experience on Puget Sound at 12 in a squall that sent us into swells that hid the top of the masts of the 80-foot schooner in front us as we dipped in between each one. Waves broke over the fying bridge of our 26-foot cabin cruiser. It terrified me. I am willing to bet your kids never will quite be over it.
