Oh my goodness, I have watched maybe 3 of your vids and have been thinking hmmm, I like this channel, think I'll put it on my list to watch regularly. Then I clicked onto this one and saw on your intro what I can only describe as a satanic depiction/symbol of a goat ? Steer ? baphemet ? Whatever evil. So, sorry don't want ANYTHING to do with the devil. You do a great job with your narration and stories, to bad you like the darkness.

So Joel of Let's Read has you in his grips...you're not the only one. It all starts with one seemingly innocent video. Then, you start enjoying that smooth, calm, buttery voice. Then you find yourself hitting the subscribe button because you crave more. By that time, it's too late. You are hooked and are now members of the 🧈🧦 cult. "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." (Hotel California, for those who aren't familiar.) 🤪🤣

The old couple in the hospital reminded me of an experience I had several years ago. My mom was in the hospital having her gallbladder removed. I went in to visit her and she was talking on the phone with my sister so I was looking around while I waited. I noticed her roommate, a small frail looking little old lady, had both her arms tied to the bed. It shocked me a little because I didn’t know why she had been tied down. She looked over at me and in the sweetest most pitiful voice I’ve ever heard she said, “Will you please untie me?” I said, “Oh I’m sorry, I can’t.” Her face scrunched up and through clenched teeth she said, “You son of a bitch. I’ll cut your fucking guts out.” I slowly moved to the other side of the room and motioned for my mom to hurry and end her call. She told me later that the nurses had tied the old lady down because she was violent, hitting, scratching, biting, and of course cussing. Mom said the lady’s daughter had been so embarrassed, she said she had never heard her mother cuss before in her life. Dementia. 😢

I had a similar experience with my Nana being tied down in a nursing home. It was shut down soon after and I work in this field and that is never acceptable. I’m just glad somebody else caught them doing the same thing to another loved one and had the cop on to report them as we only saw the video footage months later. Disgraceful!!

I used to have migraines 3 to 4 times a week during my junior and senior years of high school. Kept a migraine diary. It was back in the mid to late 80's so they didn't have any treatments for it like they do now. I can't even imagine how much worse it would've been if there had been cell phones back then. Point being, I understand your pain and I hope you get better. Prayers for relief. 🙏✝️

@@amylee3531you don't have to be in a high tax bracket. You just have to have helpful cops and that can be rare. If course it's more likely they'll be helpful in a nice area but I've also seen the exact opposite and have seen very great cops in bad areas. When I lived in a college town no way would I call the cops and one home I lived in as a child in a wealthy area on a cul-de-sac had the worst cops ever. Now I live in Miami in a working class area and the cops have been pretty good. Thing is that if you don't know what you're dealing with you're rolling the dice and who knows, you might be putting someone's life in danger. I honestly feel like a lot of the time there is no good decision.

I’ve worked graveyard shift for about 20 years. It’s not for everyone. The saying, “Only the weirdos come out at night.” Is so true. I’m one of them. I’ve seen it all. Robbers, drug addicts, drunks, ladies of the night, homeless, horrible parents, etc. Nothing scares me. I’ve been there, done that, or had to deal with it. Someone has to do it. If it’s gonna be you, then you better make sure you know damn well what you’re doing. The wrong move can get you or someone else hurt, or worse. If graveyard isn’t for you, then back out asap. Because it only gets worse and harder than your first week doing it. Holidays and special events, makes a lot more weirdos come out.

I should mention that I’m a 135lb female. I love the the graveyard shift. Less people, less traffic, and a 100% more drama. I should also mention my dad was a medic in Vietnam. He was also the only one in his platoon small enough to fit in the tunnels. So he was a tunnel rat too. He trained me well. Yes, I’ve had to put some of my training to the test in my lifetime. Both mental and physical. That’s kinda why I’m a little fearless in those situations. Because if worse comes to worse. I’m well trained, are they? Lol.

I’ve worked graveyard at Jack in the Box before as a “shift leader” for a combined total of about 3 years. Nothing really creepy occurred on my watch except for the occasional creepy/rude customer. I also worked 3rd (12 hr shift) at a haunted old factory that made envelopes, called “Tension Envelope Corp.”, for about two years. Anyway the job was cool, because there was no supervisors of any sort, we could listen to music with earphones and I’d sneak out for our lunch break. I heard stories of people “hooking up” in the empty offices, but I never got caught up in that fortunately. There was just a weird energy/feeling there to say the least and I just felt on edge much of the time. Some of my coworkers didn’t seem like great people, putting it bluntly. Well, one night I heard a faint voice calling my name, “Heather”. I looked at my friend, Starlet and she heard this too, indicated by the face she made. Mind you this was a noisy environment requiring the use of earplugs, yet I heard this ghostly voice. Rumor has it that one of the machines that produced envelopes (which I had worked on) was haunted by a male coworker that had allegedly caused the machine to break down at a certain time of day. I can’t confirm it, because the machines were pretty old and all of them would often stop and get jammed. Well, one night I was particularly exhausted so I decided to take a nap in the women’s locker room/restroom area on one of the several wooden benches that was nearest the door, on my lunch break. I was right in the middle of a deep nap when I felt the bench I was resting on violently shake. I was too tired to be scared. I was more shocked and confused than anything. Now it could’ve been a coworker trying to wake me up, but there was no one there. I ended up having a series of nervous breakdowns one year, from this job and other stressful life experiences and even took myself to a psychiatrist, where I was diagnosed with DID (aka “multiple personality disorder”). I could go on and on with odd stories about this place, but I don’t have the energy to write a small book. I did end up being fired from this job due to too many points for tardiness, but it was a good thing because this job took an emotional toll on me and I received unemployment afterwards.

These remind me of this play that was on a few years back in the UK called Ghost Stories where this security guard kept hearing a little girl's voice say 'daddy' but it was this possessed theatre prop doll. Proper spooky man!

Good stories and great narration! I'd like to respectfully suggest to leave out the gong or bell sound in future videos or at least lower the volume of it since many of us listen to these type of videos to relax and/or fall asleep. Other than that, I enjoyed your video and you got a new subscriber!😊

Man, Joel, I'm not going to lie. I've been going through it recently. Had a near death experience and it's been effecting every aspect of my life negatively. But your videos have been bringing me out of the funk and showing me a light and cheering me up. I can't express my appreciation enough for your work and talent. I'm sure you hear this alot, but thank you.

Oh my Jesus. Liability is probably why the company didn't make a report/call police about the crazy almost deadly incident. It is a good thing however that they started locking the doors. So that ppl couldn't just walk in off the street. Stay safe. 🎉. ✌️💖🤠
