As an Indie, I'd vote for her despite her not being my first nor my 10th choice. The fact that she dropped out of the presidential race back in December 2019 because not enough people wanted her might still be a cloud hanging over her. Yet, she has 3.5 years of experience as vice president of the United States. I agree with what you're saying that some people may not be ready for a black woman president. Personally, I'm not ready for an autocratic dictatorial regime. So I'd vote for her if she were running for president instead of Biden.

Here in the UK, Rishi Sunak announced the election near the end of May, and we had it just over a month later on 4th July ! That's how long it takes us to get it sorted. If you use that as a working comparison, you've got MONTHS to go, and a week is a long time in politics. I would suggest, first of all, you calm down, - get yourselves a feasible candidate, and get going !
