Jimin himself is like poetry in motion (yas sir!); the German poem printed on his torso, from Rainer Maria Rilke is, “Ich lebe mein leben in wachsenden ringen” (in English, “I live my life in widening circles”): "I live my life in ever widening circles, each superseding all the previous ones. Perhaps I never shall succeed in reaching the final circle, but attempt I will. I circle around God, the ancient tower, and have been circling for a thousand years, and still I do not know: am I a falcon, a storm, or a continuing great song?" It's meant to pair well with the circular cover art of Jimin's upcoming album (dropping this week), as well as a concept teaser titled “Circle of Resonance” that reads, “Waves originated from the deepest invisible inner world, pass through the face on the surface and reach others to resonate while transmitting the inner voice.” As to "Set Me Free" part 1, Jimin's P2 is a nod to a song "Interlude: Set Me Free" (a completely different vibe) by SUGA, his BTS band bro. This is what Jimin had to say: “There isn’t a connection, and we weren’t trying to divide part one or part two [...] But since it turns out my song talks about freedom and moving forward, and Suga’s song talks about some of the stories that come before, I thought it would be good to come after that.”

There is no part one, this title comes from a interlude suga did on his album jimin just linked them The words on his chest are from a german poem from the 1890's and link to the song. Jimin receives a lot of hat and has since he debuted with bts. It has caused him a lot of pain. I think now he at the point he does not care and that is what he is saying .The song is nol1 in 100 countries he is the first artist do reach no.1 in less than 24 hours in so many countrier. If you like this song, you should check out ON Kinetic Manifesto. It has a similar hard beat/big brass/choral sound, and the choreographer for this also did the choreography for ON. Although he has tattoos, this isn't one of them. This is a poem by German poet (wow, I really just left his name out 😭) Ranier Maria Rilke: I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world. I may not complete this last one but I will give myself to it. I circle around God, around the primordial tower. I’ve been circling for thousands of years and I still don’t know: am I a falcon, a storm, or a great song? I'm looking forward to the rest of his album next week!

And welcome baby Army!💜 I hope you have been enjoying the break 🤣 if you didn't see the breakdown, he will be on Jimmy Fallon next week, Music Bank, Inkigayo, and M Net, and doing a show called Beat Coin. I keep saying that this is such a crazy way to be introduced to Jimin, but I hope everyone gets to enjoy the contrasting styles of what he does/makes.

70 year old Army here. The tattoos are not real. Also, there is no part one. I heard the "Part 2" was to tell the difference between Jimin's song and another member Suga's song of the same title "Set me Free". Slow it down and you can see the edit at the end. Thanks for a great reaction!
