I went no contact with my toxic family for the last 1.5 years and I’m all the more better for it. I feel closer to my ancestors now and after experiencing a hardship that shook me to my core, I pleaded for help from them and help was everywhere I turned. I often wonder if spiritually to break any generational curses of toxicity and familial narcissism what I could do spiritually. I’ve been meaning to get to the nearest to botanica to talk to someone about that.

Listening to this I am starting to think my family has a generational curse. My grandmother used to take care of everyone in the family and they all stayed in the same house doing nothing with their lives. Drugs, alcohol and domestic violence was the norm. My grandmother and a many of those people passed away and I had to be moved to my aunt’s house as a child. Now I am seeing the same things happening in her house. Family members succumbing to drugs or alcohol or not doing anything with their lives. I myself have become a serial procrastinator because it seems like no matter what I do I can’t get myself out of this house. Not just me but even my cousin who was accepted to many colleges was asked to stay home and then just ended up staying here. It’s either the possibility of a generational curse or we are just really damn unlucky.

Listen it could also be ancestral or living spirits that don’t want to be alone and hold living souls hostage in a way. For instance, a mother who is so scared to be alone she ask for her kids not to leave her and they just stay in the home forever even though they want to do better and leave. Or spirits that are attached to the home that likes the miserable company as well.

When I was 14-15 I went to a new church down the street from my house. While in this church I see my brothers father and his wife so while the pastor was preaching I started to cry like idk I just felt his words I guess so my brothers father came up to me all emotional while I’m emotional and proceeds to say there is a generation curse on the women in my family and thats why all of them are divorced or single moms. Check this out my grandma had 1 son and 7 daughters ALL of my aunts are single mother and so was my grandmother. I always wonder if what he said was true

The first step to overcoming and breaking it, is recognizing that there is a problem, like in the story. Its a form of initiation into breaking it. For some, such as myself, it will be as simple as desiring something different and taking action toward it. Setting your own personal boundaries and sticking with it.
@Bubblez9149 ай бұрын
The previous 3 generations of women on my mother's side of the family have had children out of wedlock, some as young as 16. When I was a young teenager, a visiting pastor and prophet from Ghana (or Zambia, I forget as my pastor had colleagues in both countries) was speaking at my church he called me and a few other teens and young kids up and he loudly and boldly stated that there was a bastard spirit hanging on to some of us. It just so happened that ALL of us he'd pointed out were born out of wedlock. He prayed over us, touching the tops of our heads and then blowing on us and proclaimed that the spirit would no longer linger on us and would stay away from us so long as we continued to follow God. I am now in my 30s and my sisters are in their 20s, none of us have children. I got married 2 and a half years ago, my husband and I bought a house a year and a half ago, and now we are having our first child. Neither myself nor any of my siblings have had any pregnancies prior to being married. Sometimes generational curses can be something so commonplace that you wouldn't really think of it as a "curse".

There's def a curse in my family. The women keep getting f*cked up including me. They get married to shitty men, they have toxic relationships with their father, they have poor education, they struggle with having a job, they're always trapped at home and can never go further than home. It's even happening to my little cousin. Our school life and career just keeps getting sabotaged. I don't know how to break this curse but I'm thankful that I'm the one to notice it and pin point what exactly is the curse so I can do some research on what the f*ck I'm supposed to do to break this curse.

There's multiple generational curses on my moms side. I've broken some. One major one is abuse from the mother to the first born. The first born is also always a girl and she gets pregnant before she's an adult. From 11 to 17. I got pregnant with my daughter at 17. My mom got pregnant with me at 16, so on and so on. My daughter is 17. She is not abused, not pregnant, and we have a healthy relationship and open communication... something the women before us don't have.

The women are smart successful and most can cook so good people think we should be in the restaurant biz. I had my 1st reading last week but my next reading I’ll find out exactly what it is. I’m kinda the black sheep when it comes to my religious/spiritual beliefs but I don’t mind hunni bc these curses are real and ain’t nobody got time fa dat! 😂

Try to ask locals around the area, do your research on local witching shops, search tarot shops, herb shops etc. Even if you go to your local herb shop they might have some information on that or where to find someone who does in your area
