Lovely engine the m57 from the 335d, hybrids can get you 500bhp on diesel alone with other supporting mods. For over 500bhp you will need meth and or nos. The really big power can be had from adding a third larger turbo. Can push over 700bhp on stock internals with only air and fuel mods. Check out Santjer Performance in the US for more info.

M57 is still an underrated engine for sure. I love my 335d "stage 2" waiting on a few things to arrive and I'll fit the hybrids and R90 fuel pump. Calvin, if he hasn't already mention to him about the R90 and the M50d fuel rail sensor too! must have for higher power and fuel requirements!

I’ve got a stage 2 no dpf and straight piped e92 335d (also sounds like a jet calv) and it’s batshit fast, this guy has the same setup in a feather light stripped out 1 series so I know how offkey that must be to drive! Mine also lights em up at 80 mph if u floor it without traction on when I tell people they never believe me so happy he said that 😂😂

I drive 335d e90 and yes it will spin up at 70 mph if you floor it,756nm baby!!get lsd man(mfactory) and it puts power down better but still traction will flash unless you switch it off!!👍

Love my BMWs n this is something else lol but wouldn’t of swapped the rear diff as the 120d diff would of given you some more acceleration, 3.15 vs 2.81 out of the 35d get an lsd in it n you’d be away! The 1 series drive a lot better than the 3 series, you feel more connected to the car!
