The whole story of “lowering your standards “ so that you can claim you’ve been in a relationship before is none sense. I’m 22 years and I still don’t have a boyfriend; when I tell people my story they exclaim and they are shocked but honestly I know who I am in Christ and I’m not going to allow myself to allow bare minimum in all forms of relationship's because I am a 10. You're right Ma'am! When it comes to dating, sex is a determinant of how long the relationship would last. I am 23yrs and I was in a relationship with this person and I couldn't give sex willingly but he violated me and it hurts 😔. At the end of the day, when he knew that i couldn't give sex, I saw another side of him and he used my flaws as an excuse to leave.. it really hurts but I have learnt lots of lessons

This video was really helpful and fun to watch. Sometime ago, this guy I was talking to suggested we go to a "lounge" to be specific, a hotel, for a "date". He said he's a shy person and would be more comfortable in a hotel and we could talk there as well. I don't know if I'm the only person that thinks it says a lot about him, especially because it was meant to be our first meeting. Yes, Ezinne you are completely right. Courtship is the better word to use as Christians, cause its a relationship that has an end goal of leading to marriage. Dating is a relationship where both parties access themselves to see if they are suitable for each other and it usually involves sexual intercourse. Going on a Date is fixing an appointment with someone for an event. And it's okay. So the three words are all quite different. Dating, Courtship, and fixing a Date.
