Nah, it's not genuine apologies from either of them, just apologies because they got caught and called out, especially Artumbo. He didn't feel bad about plagiarism, if he did he wouldn't have done it in the first place. Instead he continued to do it because no one noticed. Neither of them wouldn't have done what they did if they truly felt sorry or didn't mean any harm, it's just a piece of shit thing to do in the first place. As for Guoba, even when he made his apology to GachaSmack I think I had a comment where I just didn't believe him he'd change immediately. This was a great reaction, I think you added a lot of valuable insight. Most notably, I actually did not even question whether or not it was true that Artumbo was the "bigger" creator. I just assumed it was true after Zmm said it (I don't think I even looked at the sub counts let alone view counts which are what actually matter). That was a bit naive of me.That falsity should not detract from Zmm's overall message and callout at all cause his video was amazing, but I am impressed that you observed that so quickly. Your experience being targeted for being "big" allowed you see through that instantly and give great insight I would have never ever noticed. When you pointed that out it kind of blew my mind for a second, because I realized it was foolish of me to believe that unconditionally just because I thought Zmm had proven he was trustworthy. A lesson has been learned. Edit: Someone replied and pointed out that Zmm was likely a much smaller channel at the time of the theft 4 months ago because he started his content in Star Rail but Artumbo is a way older creator. I am inclined to agree that Zmm was accurate in saying he was the smaller creator, though I will not assert it as fact cause I don’t have their viewership data at the time of the theft handy. So please ignore everything I said about that matter.

I agree with basically all of Tectone's points besides that one. When Zmm made the Swarm Disaster video (September 5) and WHEN it was plagiarized, which was 4 months ago, his KZbin channel was a lot smaller than it is even before he uploaded this video. I checked my old discord messages, Zmm reached 10k subscribers on November 18, because i congratulated him on that achievement. When I was made aware of his channel around the end of October, which was way after the Swarm Disaster guide, he had only ~8k subscribers. He most likely had ~4-5k subscribers or maybe even less when he made that Swarm Disaster video. Artumbo, at the time he plagiarized Zmm's video, most likely had way more subscribers since he uploads BOTH Genshin and HSR videos for over 2 years ( at least his Genshin videos), so his subscriber count should already be stablized. Tectone checked both of the channel's subscibers as of a few days ago, which I believe is a mistake on his part.

It would be good to check the exact numbers at the time somehow, but the chances that he wasn’t substantially smaller using your logic seem very low to me. I think Zmm should maybe have shown his sub count from when the theft happened to drive the point home in his video, or told people the same thing you just told me. The viewer was not really informed that Zmm had grown way larger than he was when he made the video as part of him saying he was the smaller channel which could cause some confusion. It does feel awfully convenient that guoba is consistently trying to "call out" other creators for things yet stayed quiet about artumbo, a person he clearly has a working relationship with, when he does the same thing but worse. Plus, IMO guobas consistent public slip-ups are a sign of what type of person he is. Even in Pokke’s video, he also thinks the segment about guoba was reaching a bit, as he was emotional from the artumbo bit, so it sounded a lot as if the anger was directed towards guoba. Watch guoba’s apology video and you’ll get a better view of how he thought he responded. I’ll say it again, I’m not trying to get into an argument here lmfao. But a lot of yall r putting guoba in the same boat when he had nothing to do with what artumbo did, or knew he was doing it. He already admits that the rest of what he did wasn’t a joke, so I don’t think there’s a need to re-emphasize it.

The incident of the yoink happened a few months ago, zmm was maybe getting the impression that, at the time, he was a smaller creator than Artumbo.
