The other clown in the opening was the one from Ozzie's in episode 7. Not brother by blood, but clearly he and Blitz had a close friendship as kids which kind of makes the venom Fizz has towards him hurt that much more

I don't think we've seen a clear indication of what drove a wedge between Blitz(o) and Fizzaroli, but clearly _something_ happened. As kids playing together "outside of work", the difference in "on-stage" talent and fame between them _seems_ to be a non-issue as far as their friendship went. Also, Young Blitzo doesn't seem like the sort of person who would deliberately push away people he was close to, like he would later in life... but he _did_ avoid Stolas for 25 years. I wonder...maybe he genuinely started to _like_ Stolas, but felt so guilty about stealing from him that he then avoided contact...starting a pattern of keeping people distant to _protect them from himself,_ despite hurting them _anyways_ by doing so. ...although he _does_ dote on Loona - but then again, _she_ stays emotionally distant from _him,_ which might make her "safe" for Blitz to openly care about, in terms of his neurosis.

Paimon ain't too bad, he definitely isn't number one dad but he does notice a lot about Stolas I think he just has so much going on he's not invested in "wasting" his time with his family, he's all business is my impression of him. I like how when Stolas laughs at Blitzo's horse joke Paimon notices. Stolas is my fave character though, he's so pure when he's not in thirst mode lol.

Your emotions on this episode were my own in this episode I was like bro fuck these "fathers" if you can call them that really they pissed me off to began with its also very upsetting to see stolas so excited and so happy about his life and his new dutys only to have it all fall appart I won't lie I really hope him and blitz can work their stuff out but I also respect stolas alot now that he's standing up for himself I'm excited for the upcoming episodes this is by far one of my favorite shows I've recommended it to several of my friends

A bit late to the party but my two cents: It's not that Stolas doesn't care about his daughter - quite the opposite, in fact. But, as you said, Stolas's only model for parenting was his own father, and Stolas is self-aware enough to know that his father was not great, while also being inexperienced enough to not know how to properly act like a parent. But he does try, a lot, as can be evidenced from how both parents react to a child in need of comfort. Paimon doesn't seem to understand why Stolas is upset at being suddenly engaged to Stella (and especially at his first impression of her being... that). The answer to fixing Stolas's sadness that comes to his mind is more-or-less a 'polite' command, and when that fails he resorts to basically bribery. Stolas, on the other hand, is willing to sacrifice sleep to check on his daughter, and even takes her on an impromptu field trip, complete with song, just to help her fall asleep with more pleasant dreams. Stolas, from what we can gather, is intentionally trying to be present in Octavia's life, and we can surmise that at least part of that is his attempt to not repeat the mistakes his father made raising him. But Stolas doesn't know how to do that, because his knowledge is less 'how to do it' and more 'this is definitely how not to do it.' In situations where he doesn't know how he should be a proper parent he might very well end up acting similar to the ways Paimon did, and if he doesn't pay attention he can very easily become blind to Octavia's wants, and instead focus on his own. The scene that comes to mind most readily for this is in episode 2, when Stolas and Octavia reach Robo-Fizz's tent. Octavia is obviously not happy to be there, and her facial expression speaks largely to years of dread aimed at this particular attraction. Stolas, however, regards the performance much like his own father did, completely failing to understand how miserable Octavia was to be there. I don't know why Paimon seems to take such joy at the circus, but Stolas's reaction to the performance is evident both of the unintentional parenting traits he picked up from Paimon and of how much regard he has for circuses in general, since the circus is where his life changed for (in his mind) the better right after it had gotten worse.

your hatred of plants with mouths is funny every damn time lmao, but I think they don't bite him because he raises them & talks to them lol also HELL YEAH thats a real man that admits hes wronged people and can recognize that dynamic from BOTH sides! We humans are so damn messy, even with the best intentions we mess up and every one of us can be selfish or just not think of other people's experience at times. We recognize, and strive to do better- Always striving for better, since you'll never be perfect but always have room to grow. I think this show does an AWESOME job of letting its characters be shitty people or do bad things that hurt others but let them learn and change over time. Blitzø's changes are slow, but after his drug trip with Moxxie he is notably nicer and less unhinged with the team. Hes got a mountain of issues but I really love seeing the show slowly unveil why and have him change as we watch. Like you talked about rewatching and how with new context the past episodes have insane foreshadowing or you can really see the reasons WHY characters act like they do. The character work in this show is literally TOP tier, my all time favorite honestly its something special.

It's just Stella is always abusing him mentally and emotionally and she ain't afraid to hit AKA physically she wasn't always around to parent Octavia she has a big ego to be all high and mighty but she isn't a true princess she's just a I don't know what hierarchy she is but she's just married to Stola's to get a title pretty much her job is done after the divorce. and you're right it doesn't matter what sexual preference you have or what gender you are you should never let your spouse or your so-called friends plus family use you in any other way to get what they want pretty much abuse you.

Yeah when his dad Paimon first came out and transformed like that it's scared the living s*** out of me. And he doesn't know Stolas off the back there is 72 demons in the Ars Goetia a big chunk of them have to be his son since he is one of the Kings and he refers to Stolas as the owl boy combining that with his transforming abilities means he possibly has other children who are other kinds of animals. Bonuses theory it's also known that Paimon and the others are the most devoted to Lucifer himself so the reason why he would have Stolas studying the Earth Skies was for the prophecies they could foretell to see if there was one where Hell can defeat Heaven and he needs to make a cautionary heir to the family just in case he dies and until they can permanently replaced him. And also they released a teaser for episode 2 on Twitter so I have no f****** idea when the season finale is going to come out but all I know is I'm going to love the hell out of it because I had to wait for it. Also don't feel bad man I've seen multiple reactions it takes some people a little bit extra time to figure out that it takes place before the main continuity because it's just a subtle hint and even then you can take it as Stella just being a b****
