Up until now, the top four most amazing things I have seen done on a NASCAR track we're all held by none other than Mr Dale Earnhardt senior. The pass in the grass, straightening the s-turns at Riverside to pass Bodine and a lap car, hanging out of the driver's window to clean his windshield under caution at Richmond, and getting back into a flipped race car to salvage points. With much respect to Dale and all of his accomplishments, those four moments are now numbers 2 through 5 of the most amazing things I've seen.

Exactly! I say that Ross's move was great for business. The crowd went nuts applauding him when he got out of the car.

HERO MOVE!! I can't stop laughing every time I see the replays... Guy's willing to lay it all out on the line, gotta respect that plus it was absolutely hilarious

Being there in person was the most electric atmosphere besides Bristol. The move, the final points, the elation from chastains interview vs the boos from Denny. WHAT A FINISH

My grandpa, who hates modern day nascar, got a huge laugh out of it. Especially with us waiting to see if Denny was just gonna run his mouth or put chastain out. This was a huge moment and seeing Bell emotional got to him. The ending of this race brought more emotion out of my pawpaw than a race has in 15 years.

@Lane Strawder I got a little emotional as well. Nascar is back!!🔥👍

Nice reaction you have there Eric, I was speechless but amazed with what I saw from Ross Chastain in this race! Holy crap that's impressive, especially beating Denny Hamlin to the line!

All you need to know about that Chastain move was the crowd going nuts when he got out of the car. Racing fans are desperate for a driver that wasn't born into a racing team that has been given nothing but the best equipment to run with since they were in go-carts. This dude, love him or not, has earned his way to where he is now and the desperate way he runs highlights how much he knows how much this opportunity is worth. Easy to root for him, despite the mistakes on the track this year.

That move was differently out of the groove! One of the best endings in a race!

In 50 or so years of watching or going to races, this move will be replay for the next 50 years or longer. Greatest move in Nascar history. Nascar needs to just this go. He did nothing wrong.

I dont want this to become the Meta but it being a one time thing is perfect. Even non-Nascar fans reached out to me to talk about the Chastain move. I like the buzz it gathered. I hope new people tune in next sunday and witness a great championship race. Go get it Ross!

It was kind of like Alex Zanardi at Laguna Seca when he destroyed his car going across the corkscrew. If you wreck your car and know that you don't need it so be it. I totally love the Bonsai move

It deserves way more on the Groovy Gauge, if only for the final lap creative application of rubbing is racing. And as long as it is clean and crafty, no need to ban and hard to say if anyone will ever get away with something like that again with no cars along the wall at all..

I couldn't even watch the final 2 laps I was so anxious! Then I open my eyes and Chastain is in the round of 4!!! My mind is blown completely! I thought he was out for sure. And congrats to Bell for the must win!

I’ve been watching nascar for 37 years and I’ve never seen anything like that the pass in the grass the 18-1 in 4 laps the Craven Kurt Busch beating and banging all good finishes but the chastain move PRICELESS man priceless
