He absolutely demolished the guy who beat him in men’s physique. It wasn’t even close, I was utterly shocked they placed that other guy above him. They weren’t even close. Jesse was leaner, more symmetrical, had way better abs and was overall far more aesthetic. Utterly baffled by his 2nd placing.
@JoebsonOSRS Жыл бұрын
Bro, same I was shocked that guy beat him
@tootoomcgoo9674 Жыл бұрын
Unless I'm mistaken, Jesse conspicuously never included footage of the eventual winner's back. Makes me think the other guy dominated him from behind (Jesse's much worse from the back). The guy who won men's physique was definitely bigger than Jesse and if he had a significantly better back to boot, which comprises HALF the physique, then I can see why he won. He also doesn't look quite as impressive because he wasn't all shiny and tan like Jesse. While the intangibles like that of course count, don't kid yourself that the judges are going to give a guy with the inferior physique the win just because he's got his tan and oil better. The winner had better energy on the stage and seemed to flow with their poses much more fluidly than Jesse too, which counts for a lot in men's physique. At the end of the day, Jesse absolutely did not DEMOLISH the winner. He almost certainly lost fair and square, albeit it was definitely close.
@Chronux Жыл бұрын
You guys are just biased because he's some influencer with millions of followers and the other guy is relatively unknown. It's not a popularity contest sorry
@ESKATEUK Жыл бұрын
@@Chronux so I can’t state my opinion without being called biased? Funny enough other than the Ronnie Coleman video I’ve never watched any of Jesses videos in my life, and decided to subscribe after watching the last video of him on comp day, it’s got nothing to do with popularity, I was no fan of his, I’ve never watched his videos and in all honesty I found him a bit annoying. But after seeing the effort he put in and how he seems to really enjoy what he does, I had a change of heart.
@thunderball11111 Жыл бұрын
I think part of it was how wet Jessie looked. Because he was so oiled up he looked a bit sloppy whereas the other guy was largely dry and it make his muscle look harder (even if it wasn’t as defined). It is after all a competition of aesthetics

Take a shot every time Greg says "than last time". Give it a minute or two. Complete blackout

The harder than last time has been working. Did the best week so far. Got to 10 pullups, 7 reps w 205 on BP, ran a mile in 7:35 and did 450 leg press for 10 reps. Now it's getting ready for the next one. Feels great! Thanks coach!

One of the best things about this dude is that he never takes credit for himself when he uploads something. He always respects us, the audience, and he is always full of energy in his videos. Keep up the hard work!!

Seems like that Jessie was goofing around a little on stage, this may have turned some judges off. While he looked great it may be that his joking around may seemed like that he didn't take the competition serious. While he was good at hitting poses and had very good definition, it may be important for him to work on his stage presence.
