I dotn know who GingerGM is, but using proper names to designate letters "a" - Alice, "b" - Betty, etc is pretty common. It reminds me of an anecdote I once heard. The chess game is about to start. The player for black is waiting. A couple of minutes later, than one to play for white finally shows up. He stairs at the board for another couple of minutes, which irritates the other player. The black player asks what takes him so long to make a first move. The white player than says, I see a mate for white in 42 moves. The player for black started looking at the board. He thought for couple of minutes and then said: You are right, indeed, and then resigned.

After the Evan's comment towards the end, I thought of what would happen if you played 2. ...b4 in the Sicilian. Turns out, that's called the Wing Gambit, and while Stockfish doesn't really like it, it plays itself to a draw, and if they don't accept the a3 pawn afterwards (Stockfish won with white after accepting), you get Bxb4 and then c3, d4 just like in the Evan's gambit, just without any e pawn already pushed and without black being able to play Ba5.

sorry still novice in chess, i may be wrong. But in final attack for black , instead of bishop a2 if we play pawn a3xb2 wouldnt it be better choice for check mate ? Just curious. I am sure professionals are well trained to play at these positions and cannot challenge them.

To those who think there is nothing fancy about Dubov: Sure, if you are accustomed to drink red vine and sparkling alcoholic drinks every day, by all means; whereas for the rest of us, Dubov is indeed amazing to watch!

I found everything that didn't work that you demonstrated and the solution as well. Finding it wasn't too difficult because it's forced but not knowing that during a game has to be extremely difficult.

Is the defense against axb2 c4? I don't see any other way to not get instantly checkmated but it is also hard to believe there is no mating attack there.

I actually found the move and the following lines with best white defence. I know it isn't that impressive to many, but I only watch your videos and have rarely played any games with others. I am still slow, but my calculations have improved these past couple of years!
