Suggestion: there’s no reason black can’t be a major part of his new wardrobe. Dark colors in better fitting outfits are going to be way more sophisticated while not feeling foreign to Shane. He wears 3XL (I know cause he asked for that size bathrobe) and I can honestly say he dressed better than half of the hotel for sure. Proud of you, Shane 💖 Here’s a couple style tips: - Vertical lines/stripes: This gives the illusion that someone is taller which creates a more slimming look. - Darker colors - Always employ cotton for shirts. - You can try wearing tops designed for taller guys. I think you’re 6ft? Lol. So something like “XLT / XXLT” might provide the length you like. If you haven’t tried that. Especially for dress shirts. Hey Shane, I'm studing Fashion Design in college and I just want to say that I loved seeing you try different clothes and pretty much all of them look great on you. Maybe you feel uncomfortable in them but Ryland would tell you the truth, you look nice. You can wear them and just be yourself. The staples in fashion that remind you of people and how they may act based on their clothing, try to just live your own life in the garments, and just maybe be a slightly different version of yourself. I do think it would be really helpful for Shane to get tips and tricks from a Stylist (they offer this service free at Nordstrom and other department stores) where the stylist can help Shane find wardrobe pieces for any occasion that compliment his physique and will make him feel confident and comfortable. 💗 And I love the leopard print luggage! 😍 And you should have stuck with black and hints of color… that is how I had to start branching out from a solely black wardrobe.

If Shane or Ryland is reading this, maybe try going for some grey & neutral colors, like darker nudes and browns to add to Shane's wardrobe. I feel for Shane in this situation. Honest review: Outfit #1 was best all around, the color of the shirt is very flattering but the jacket color is a little light for my taste. Outfit 2 was a flop, Ryland might be able to pull off the top with some cute shorts. Outfit 3 was the best fitting for Shane's figure but the color of the stripes was too much. I relate to Shane in so many ways. We both struggled with weight, and no matter the attempts to get it under control the struggle remains just as much as I was in HS until now at 51yrs old. I've watched Shane for years and years now and I always thought he looked good! The pink hoodie and yellow tinted shades were a great look I thought. It's so hard finding clothes that don't make you want to just crawl under a rock and never come out. Its so triggering, so I absolutely get it. Buying clothes is my biggest nightmare, next to going to the Dr's. Shane, you should be proud of trying to step out of your comfort zone and even trying them on in the store. I'm late to the party but I loved all of these outfits! The striped shirt was amazing. The peacoat is super cute. Pink hoodie is a winner. The white coat is a keeper. I also really liked the blue jeans. Definitely need other shoes though.

The references to all of the outfits killed me😂 I honestly loved the green shirt and the pink sweater the most! Also those black adidas were honestly so you. I’m honestly super happy for you Shane you have no idea! I think something that may make you feel more comfortable is changing the colours you wear but keeping it neutral like browns or greys. For example some shirts that are graphic but the background is a different colour just like Britany shirt. Don’t try to fit everyone else’s style and what’s in right now, stick to yourself and you’ll find yourself to be much happier that way❤️❤️

The problem with the outfits is that Ryland dresses tacky and Shane doesn't really have a set style. But I'm glad they both tried, and that Shane was brave enough to try other clothes in front of the camera.

I love that Shane is getting out of his comfort zone… I love the first outfit! Word of advice - not super thin people actually look smaller in layers and definitely NO to horizontal stripes. That’s why outfit #1 was so becoming on Shane. I would find a tailored collared button up shirt for Shane to wear with the pea coat - but not white - do a dark bluish gray color and black jeans. Great job!! So great to see both happy and enjoying life.

Being out of your comfort zone is hard. And when your always self critical it’s difficult to see what is actually amazing. Shane you rocked all those outfits. Seriously! And clothes should be fun. Outfit #1 : love the under shirt, pants, and shoes. Didn’t like the jacket bc it closed too much, the brown jacket you found after the Balenciaga jacket would of went perfect with that outfit. Outfit #2 : I absolutely loved it, it’s so different from Shane’s normal attire so naturally he hated it but I loved it and think it was a good podcast outfit. Outfit #3 : HATED the print but LOVED the fit/style of shirt. I think a maroon, grey, heather purple, Smokey blue or worn orange would of been a better color, the print was just not flattering for literally anyone. I loved the rest of the outfit. Keep stepping out of the comfort zone Shane, YOU GOT THIS!!
