I am a painter, and honestly, Ryland was doing a great job. I’ve always believed that anyone can make art. Most are just too afraid and doubt themselves along the way. And most artists are never fully happy with their art. We pick at every little detail too. But it turned out great!

I studied art, and I just want to say that the process of creating a piece is what really matters, when channeling emotions towards your artwork in the moment and throughout the journey, that gives you a masterpiece. i think the mesmerizing understanding about it, is that the viewer has their own opinion (which gives it more of a personality but from a different pov) that’s the beauty of it all, quite frankly Ryland made something (from nothing) beautiful with the “process of emotions” which led to Shane adding his own creative touch to the same piece. connecting the two gives you a masterpiece that you’ll never forget.

In my experience, crystals can lose their full charge in sunlight. Think of how the sun can fade the brilliant colors of anything left out too long and can be too intense and drying if other elements like earth and water aren’t involved. Ive had great experience with charging my crystals in the full moon. For crystals I keep around for calming anxiety, I like to charge them in water infused with chamomile or on a bed of chamomile flowers. One can get very creative. However, we are all on our own path and if something works for you then ***it works*** I recommend looking up what correspondences each individual crystal has and using that as a guide. Love you both and I’m happy you’re taking us along in this new chapter in your life.

I love how everyone has there methods. I similar to Shane, I leave mine in the morning sun (not for long maybe a hour or two) after a full moon. 16 years and thankfully my crystals are still as beautiful and vibrant as ever! 💎 ❤️🙌🏻

Certain crystals can be charged in water while some shouldn't because of their properties and same with the sun, som crystals May fade if left in the sun too long because of the crystals components.

Shane’s doing great with the crystals! Charging them in the sun OR moon is perfect, don’t do both! Make sure to check what crystals are sensitive to sunlight, and make sure he is setting his intentions for the crystals as he’s charging them! Love u guys 🥰

One cool painting tip is try using just a regular feather duster to add “splatter” effects to a canvas or wall. It’s really neat. My old bedroom walls were done that way. 😊

Pink Spackle is weirdly fun to work with! It's an "air activated" thing and the pink is usually a good indicator to show you've covered an area completely before letting it dry (to make sure you didn't miss any spots). Also a speckle effect, dip your brush into some paint and using either a stick or another paint brush, you can tap on the brush to flick some paint onto your canvas. Also works well if you have a toothbrush! Just dip in paint and run your fingers across the bristles! :) I think you did very well for your first attempt, honestly! Art is subjective and as an artist myself, I have to learn to walk away and come back to it later with "new eyes". Or else I'm never happy with it. If you want to do more art projects, I think you'd really enjoy doing paint pours and Splatter Art! Yeah it's messy, but really fun (and a wonderful de-stresser lol)

That canvas was beautiful as it was, but it also turned out beautiful when white, and then it was beautiful with Shane’s contribution like a signature. You can seal the top with some clear overcoat for it to stay when cleaned.

When you mixed the paint with water I was internally yelling….”You are headed in the right direction but you needed either Floetrol or a glue/water mixture to make the paint the right consistency and still allow it to bind to the canvas.” But look at you, you didn’t need my help. Once that makeup dries, you guys should seal it. So that if it ever gets moved, bumped, etc. That it doesn't get ruined. Sealer is cheap as fuck, and you can find it anywheres you can buy spray paint!
