The trick other than the torn card is the ability to solve the cube one handed in less than a second. So it is basically entirely sleight of hand. I don't think that's giving away anything because it isn't a trick cube.

It's not a trick in the sense of fraud. It is necessary to have a well-lubricated cube and be able to control it with individual fingers. The initial color combination must appear "mixed" and be such that the cube can be folded in a few movements. Therefore, the magician usually mixes himself. If the guest is shuffling (always from a folded dice state), he must not make many turns. This "magic" is more about the art of juggling than about magic. The last trick with the card is a beginner trick, because the master with the dice is more of a juggler than a magician.

I perform these tricks as Steven himself sells a dvd with these same tricks in it, and I can tell you with 100% certainty that the cube is completely normal. The illusion is accomplished with insanely fast Rubik's cube speed skill.
