Cool off, think rationally through what happened and figure if I was wrong or being the dick. Then I'd come back and I'd have it out with her ... calmly and objectively. She didn't want that ... she wanted the screaming match, fight, etc. She didn't like it when I used actual common sense and facts ... for a genuine discussion. I find this culterally very interesting. In my country its no question that the Kids stay with the mother (unless she s known to have been abusive towards them) as here most fathers simply dont care about their children and we simply dont trust men to be able to Look after or take care of them. They often cant look after themselves either as they are often going from 'Hotel-mummy' (where they are babyed) straight to 'hotel-wify' (where they often also dont have to lift a singel Finger in the household or with the kids). Sometimes ppl also asume all kind of ugly things (sexual abuse etc.) of a man if he s known to be alone with Kids. Its sad and (mostly) unfair I know but unfortunatly that kind of thinking is still in many heads. Kids are considdered a 'womans-job' here. Also for safty-resaons: Mothers dont have the nessersary body parts to sexually abuse a child (unfair and sometimes inacuarate as there are many ways to cross that kind of boundersies - I know). I guess we are also the only country I know of where a Baby that is born to an unmaried mother will always have the mothers and never the fathers last Name 🤷🏼♀️. Out of interest... how is it over there? Do you guys really trust men that much? Are they more mature and ready for responsibility there? How are the general experiances there?

The thing is, relationships should fail at ever having to argue. One should be intelligent enough to know how compatible they are to the individual that they are with, before they get into a serious relationship. You are going to want to treat that person with the same level of respect that you expect to get, yourself! Arguing about anything negates the respect you should of had with regard to their opinion, and it is at that moment whether progressing this relationship is advantageous to a wonderful life and relationship with said person.

Women that think a good man will react irrationally and uncontrollably in that situation never truly knew their man. For me it was after 17 years. When I found out I told her that they had one chance and one chance only at me being a cordial person and that was for me to personally meet him face to face that very day. It took her speaking with him for some time before he finally agreed. I told them both to sit there and just let me talk. After 20+ minutes I stood up and excused myself. He actually followed me to the door, expressed sympathy, and tried to give me a hug. I wasn't having that and I left. Our divorce was cordial and fast and she married him weeks after our divorce was final. A couple of years later she called saying that she didn't know what to do and that he was "losing his mind". She said that he couldn't forgive himself for what they did, that I was a good man, and that I didn't deserve it. His conscience couldn't allow him to be with her and they divorced. She is fat and is with a crazy, childlike, "former" meth addict now.

I think that man truly realized how much he not only damaged their relationship. But how much he damaged himself. The Bible says that that man destroys himself. God knows how much hurt was done to the original husband. And the family. So the punishment was mental torture for that man because his conscience was bothering him. I don’t know why he married her.
