it's not better due to the action of having to cut off the full swing due to using one arm. The problem being the inability to follow through because the inability to control the club all the way through like you can with two hands. The most powerful aspects of a good swing are the result of two things, head speed, and leverage, the leverage comes from ones hips and swing angle. The best homerun swing which so many mistake as being at an upward angle, is a downward angle striking the ball in a way that creates backspin and then the follow through comes at a slightly upward angle only after striking the ball on the follow through, think Ken Griffey Jr, or even better Hammerin Hank Aaron. Watch Hanks swing and you'll notice exactly what I'm saying. Downward on to the sweet spot of the ball creating backspin and then a through and then up follow through. Yes, I wold know from experience. This dude in the video does have a sweet amount of club speed, but realistically I guarantee one thing, he will have serious elbow issues over time. I don't know what his club speed is, and I haven't played in some time but mine was 105 mph, with a 34 inch wooden baseball bat. For some context, Barry Bonds I believe was around 95 mph. Of course Barry was a much better hitter than just about everyone ever to live, myself without even question, though I could certainly hit and anyone that knows who I am would likely corroborate that. By the way, the pros didn't want to "know his secrets," they just wanted to see it as it's entertaining but any professional golfer knows for a fact this swing would not ever work on the PGA tour, and now you know why. No real accuracy and an inability to consistently reproduce it over 18 holes. Again, arm problems, sorry Snappy, not a hater, the swings dope, but I'm also a realist and not as gullible as a youtube short.

Like a baseball pitcher, his elbow goes forward before the hand snaps to catch up. Only he has a club to extend the hand's snap even further. Crack the whip, basically.

People who play badminton know how to flick their wrist can apply the same method to a one handed golf swing, you can triple the speed when you hit the ball.

That’s because he’s using centrifugal motion by swinging it around his head and using it like a bat. It looks good but your hand eye coordination has to be on point. You can’t be missing shots in the PGA where every stroke counts. Check out vids of this guy, he misses more than he hits… but when it does hit it looks GOOD.
