Forcing Jeremy to speak to the cab driver was a devilish move. Nothing better than that awkward small talk between two people who don't want to talk.

I'm so impressed by Jeremy! I'm an intermediate learner, but my reading and writing far exceed my speaking abilities, so watching him speak so confidently was really inspiring! Yes, he needed to pause to think of words, but his pronunciation usually sounded pretty good to me (though I'm no expert), and he was great at constructing sentences on the fly! Even though I've been studying for more than 3 years, I would have struggled a lot more than he did! Jeremy 님, 너무 잘 했습니다!

I love that you decided to do this! As a Korean learner, I was able to understand him and his small mistakes. You’ve done an amazing job teaching him. I LOVE 24hr speaking videos because I can relate having to use Korean in survival mode. 너무 잘하고 재밌었어요 🎉

Such a good sport!! I love the dinosaur question!! It taught me a word. I live in Korea and only hang with Koreans. I was at a kid place with a friend and her two little boys (they aren’t bilingual) and realized I didn’t know the word for dinosaur, but I think it’s an important word for playing with 2 tiny boys.

omg Jeremy did great! As an intermediate level learner I'd have struggled to speak to natives, he really did everything you asked and that was commendable ! I love that as soon as he was allowed to use English again, he cursed! XD the struggle is so relatable kkkk

I have a running joke that every statue in Korea is either King Sejong or Yi Sun Sin. It's a game to try to guess which based off their clothes before you get close enough to check the name. (If it's a woman, I always guess Queen Seondeok, but it has a much lower accuracy rate. ㅠㅠ)
