He is amazing. The vocal range in this song is A1 (vocal fry) - C2 (chest) - A#5 (mix) - C6 (head) - E6 (whistle). Basically he sings in all 5 registers. As for 6:55 - the technique has several different names but it's basically done with quarter tone halfway between head voice and chest voice.

This is the first song I heard from Dimash 3 years ago and I never looked back. He has spoiled me for other singers. The range, the techniques, embellishments he uses, the registers and the character. He's the most humble person despite all his accomplishments. The guy in the white shirt giving Dimash the standing ovation is the famous Russian composer/music mogul (worth 13 billion) is Igor Krutoy. After he heard Dimash in this performance, sing Sinful Passion (which was in 2018) he came out of retirement to work with Dimash. He has now composed many amazing songs for Dimash’s range (which currently is A1 to D8), so you will get to see him accompanying Dimash on the piano, on his compositions. It is a childhood dream come true for Dimash, to work with Igor.

Not only did Igor come out of retirement, he also introduced America to its first live taste of Dimash. Igor celebrated his 65th birthday by giving a concert in Barclays Center on Oct 26, 2019. Among his distinguished guests, Dimash was one of them. It was so successful, Dimash's solo concert in Barclays on Dec 10, 2019 was a sold out event. Performing in the US was also a dream come true for Dimash. This eventually led to his current relationship with Walter Afanasieff, who is working on music for Dimash. When the pandemic eases up, Dimash will be in Walter's studio here in the states...

It's mind boggling to think he has improved since this performance and just keeps getting better. Fall down the rabbit hole and explore his wonderland. I have gained so much musical knowledge from the experience. He is a gift. BTW STANS are toxic and not true FANS. The vast majority of dears can not be described as such. Dimash has gained most of his popularity outside of the far East through his Dear's grass-root efforts to share him with the world and they truely want what is best for him. The man in the white shirt is Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Dimash sings in many different genres, he even raps. His ballads are gorgeous and he has pop stuff, and he sings in 12-14 different languages. His music videos are incredible - 'Love of Tired Swans' which is beautiful and he wears wings and his voice frees them from evil! & 'Know' which is filmed on a volcanic island and it's about man/woman life/creation and his latest is 'I Miss You' which was written for him and is a lost love story and 'Golden' (which is kind of cyber punk). His concerts are mind blowing! Check out Bastau and NY Barclay Center. One of the most incredible performances of a true story is the Bastau one of 'Daybreak'. Lots for you to experience! :)

You will love his Drunk Concubine+Diva Dance song. He make it in duet with pekin opera singer and this is amaizing masterpice. He growl here and have so high note that it sound like wisel for dogs. Dimash is the Michelangelo of vocals. After watching some of his performances, you begin to relax a little from the shock and are able to catch all of his amazing vocal nuances. One vocal coach reactor said that he has 5 or 6 singers in that body (as you did also), but not just any singers. They're all virtuoso singers. I thought that was an excellent observation.

Hi Charlie, I'm really enjoying your reactions to Dimash. I've read that before Dimash sings a song, he asks for just the lyrics. He studies the words and their meanings to understand what emotions they convey. Then he determines how he can vocally relate them. Finally he gets the score and merges the two, and we get the masterpieces he performs! Thus no two songs are alike. Even when he sings the same song in a another setting, it will be different. We are amazed by his range, but he down plays it. His goal is to get us to experience it! When he sings, he's living what he's singing. Keep reacting to Dimash. You will be speechless, but that's OK, just let us see how you enjoy and are amazed by this gift to the world.

Hey there, nice reaction!!! He's truly amazing, isn't he? ❤ Dimash is 26 years old (gonna be 27 this year) but he practices and studies music since he was 5. He's already got his master degree in music. His range is 6 octaves, but he doesn't like that much when people pay attention only to this, he always says that the most important for him is to make people go on a journey while listening to him singing ❤ He can play many instruments as well... Well, to go one with his performances, I would recommend to you S.O.S (my favorite is the slavic bazaar one, it's terrific!!), Love is like a dream, Know and Love of tired swans. You're gonna love it, trust me haha

Dimash's vocal evolution is certainly not of that dimension, he is still very young only 26 years old, at the moment he is totally focused on his musical evolution, extremely humble, he was never dazzled by fame, attached to humanitarian causes he usually donates tons of food as ambassador for @MichaelKors, Nobel Peace Prize winner, #Foodislove, attached to family values, makes a point of living with his parents, does not give up his family life, his greatest asset according to himself, he does not consume alcoholic drinks, does not smoke, does not frequent ballads, his greatest concern is not to disappoint the family, at that age he has mastered all vocal techniques, it is unimaginable to think to what level he will reach with such exemplary discipline.
