Knowing how similiar Joe and Charlie are, that Joe was made to hate his own body, too. God, season 3 Charlie will break my heart apart.

will never not buffle me to realize that their are "fans" watching charlie suffering that much and then going to do the same sh*t to the actor of said character. their are the reason joe has now body dysmorphia too, is seeing a therapist, has self esteem issues.

Season 3 is different than funny. It somehow doesn't make sense that Charly ends up in an institution when he has such great friends. Did no one understand him? Charly's mother, who is so strict and responsible in the two seasons, also failed her. Anyone who watches the first two seasons several times will find that there are a number of logical errors in many scenes and simply don't make any sense. Particularly season two Paris scenes and then eating at Nick's mother's with Charly and his parents. It doesn't make any sense, it just gets chopped off after a little discussion. All in all, if you look at it a few times, you will find that Alice Osman villes has cut it. In the second season, Nick, like Charly, couldn't manage to say "I love you" to each other. In the final scene in the second, Nick finds Charly's eyes beautiful and his hair, but the decisive sentence comes from neither one nor the other. How long does it take for both of them to really know whether they love each other or not? The supporting role of Harry is equally mysterious. The guy is constantly causing gay quarrels and likes to set Nick up, but even at 16 he's always hanging out with boys and doesn't have a girlfriend in sight. In Season 3, everything that was missing in the second season is now tied together in one package.

I don't agree with you, i think every episode what you described makes sense! Every episode from season 1 and 2 makes sense to me, if you just live in the moment, love watching the show and not be negative to some scenes, that are probably does'nt make sense. Like the dinner scene you described makes sense! Because if they hadn't had that dinner, than i think that Nick never really dared or had the chance to come out to his dad. Sorry, but i had to share my opinion about this. But yeah anyways... season 3 is gonna hit different!

While I'm the first to admit that they're lots of inconsistent parts in Heartstopper (making Charlie run through half of Paris after he just fainted and admitted to starving himself?), this isn't about having or not having someone who understands Charlie. Charlie is suffering from multiple mental illnesses. He needs professional help.
