For being a brand new truck and the dash coming loose already and the trucking is beeping like crazy. Truck must have been built on a Friday. If my truck was doing that I would be having a long talk with the dealer I bought it from. The highlight of this video was Tiffany being on board.

It is very nice that people from the office started to drive with truck drivers, because they can see how much must be done for truckers! It is impassible to find good healthy food on track stops. The restaurants are mostly junk food. The truck stops need the gyms, because drivers set almost all day long. I think that so many people will appreciate if this thing can change.

I came across this series in a ad for another video I was going to watch. I never watched that video. I wish I could have a chance to do a ride along myself. I’ll never try and be a driver, but just to ride for 1 week with a nice driver like these would be great. FYI I always give all truck drivers all the room they need, you have my respect and thanks for everything you do.

With Knight transportation how does it work on a no force dispatch? If a driver prefers to work starting around 4:30 a.m. and shutting down by 5:00 p.m. in order to be able to find parking at a truck stop is that something that's possible? That way the driver has some consistency on his sleep and his work schedule. Speaking on the dry van side not refer side.

Funny Stuff. This lady is very clueless on the day to day of the bread and butter side of trucking. The simulation game is just that. A game. Money spent that didn't need to be spent. The simulator does have practical use. Especially for those in school. It can be far less intimidating to use the simulator to learn some basic skills before hitting the road for the very first time. We also have a VR setup up as well where future drivers can learn a number of different things, like the pretrip for example.

No simulator when i started back in 1971 in the Netherlands. I got my complete driver license after 5 lessons driving a small opel blitz truck. Simple and low-priced. Total cost $200,- ! Unbelievable when you think about it ,but those were the days back then. Things have changed a lot !

Drivers are not trained. They are born. It's in thier blood. I have said it before. It is a survival game. Do you have the balls to control 80,000 pounds at 70 mph all day every day? Can you out drive all the cowboys and four wheelers on the road? Can you watch a woman's bloody body thrown from her car roll across the road in front of you and keep going? And sit in traffic for hours and hours because of snow, flooding, wrecks,police ,fires? Loading and unloading and securing your load freezing and sweating. Then you have to fuel up check your truck to make sure it's safe. By then it's 2am. Then do all your paperwork eat shower and sleep 4 hours and start all over again the next day. And every day I'd different. Some better some worse. 3million miler Have fun

Knight Trans doing there "take a person from the office sketch and put them in a truck for a few days so they can see what drivers go through" lol. Its not reality. You wont even scratch the surface of what a truck driver goes through. Not even a little bit. Stay out for at least 8 months and youll have a better understanding, but until then its pointless. But lets be honest, this isnt what this is really about...its a PR move to shine a brighter light on Knight Transportation and to convince and recruit drivers to come to Knight because they "care about there drivers" and look we also have office people riding in trucks. Lol. Smh. Sheep will be sheep
