What gets me is you play like a GM. So, never mind the official shit. Having to ´norm` seems tedious and you are not a tedious person. Too intelligent to be dragged into playing for what? Then if achieved, you will crave the super GM.. Your job is marvelous, you are the marvel that drives us all. Just retire from the GM approach and mildly beat them all otherwise. Tournaments are not for you. You are too busy promoting/supporting chess. By the way I am 77 years young and of course you got me back into chess. What is in a title?
