No one attacked Bear Island and their 62 Warriors because it's the North. Though we've seen some Houses become shit (Bolton / Frey) in general they are extreamly honorable and obsessed with sticking to their vows in the North. Bear Island may have 62 Warriors but their alliegence with the rest of the Northern Houses protects them. For instance, prior to the fall out House Stark were Bear Island attacked or put under siege Ned would have rode there with his army and slaughtered whoever was fucking with the Mormonts. This is also why the North is able to exist separate from the "King" and the Seven Kingdoms. Why Ned Stark was "Warden of the North" and eventually Rob "King in the North" etc.

Honestly the story of this episode is great because it mainly bounces between Hound and the one he had grown closest to in his entire life probably, Arya. Showing their stories in sync almost. I knew Hannah would flip out this episode lol

@@tonismith3707 Nah, you are forgetting the most important aspect - it is a GoT season 6 when the logic is no more there. They made it a typical good vs evil when all the good guy will have plot armor no matter what. The best example is battle of bastards and how little sense it has

The amazing part of the early seasons was that it was grounded. Some people scoff at a fantasy show with dragons needing to be grounded, but I'd argue it's very important, because it keeps the stakes high. But when Arya survived multiple stabs to the gut like that, and worse, was able to run away next episode like she merely got scratched.... Really took the grounding of the first four seasons and stood it on its head. If Arya can survive that no problem, then there really is no stakes, because the plot armor will be thick.
