Dont be surprised how often Max comes back because he misses his home. Especially for the home cooked meals. Just send him a text and say " im making .... if your interested stop" by. . My only son left home at 18 to go to work on a 1million acre cattle station in the Northern Territory here in Australia.......2500km away!! He's 28 now and thankfully he moved back a bit closer to us.....only 3 hours drive away now thank goodness. I still miss him every day.

I remember when my son moved out. I went to shop at a home store the next day. This store plays religious hymns. I burst into tears! I had to leave before I made a spectacle of myself. Such I lonely feeling but we know it is coming and of are happy for them at the same time. It will get easier😊

Awww Nisha my heart goes out to you. I remember that empty nest feeling and not knowing what to do with myself. It seems so long ago now, 4 grandchildren and a great one on the way. The positives of letting your children go. I guess as they say, there’s a silver lining behind every cloud. I used to suffer with depression as well. I was so happy when I was finally free of antidepressants. I wish you well on your new journey of watching Max come into his own new life of manhood. It will get easier and believe it or not you settle into your new life and learn to enjoy it.

Hi Nisha! It's a start for your son but he will surely need his mom often! I left very early to live in an apartment with friends for my studies but I came back every weekend to the country! When I got married I called my mother every day for recipes etc. I still had that connection with her. You quickly realize how spoiled you are and how much your mother does for you. But that's life! Someone once told me "As soon as the children are born, they don't belong to us anymore" but moms don't see it that way! He is now ready to stand on his own two feet and will be very grateful for all that you have brought into his life. What would be a vlog without Louis .... I don't know! When we follow you for several years...we feel like you are part of our lives with Paul and Louis. It's an appointment I wouldn't miss! You are one of my first subscribers and I watch all your videos even if with the time difference I am always late in the comments. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression after a severe depression and I know how it feels to be anxious. But there are still beautiful moments in life.... and you have to be attached to them! xxx

Hi Nisha l did feel sad for you when Max was moving out. It bought back when my last daughter left, l felt really sad and had a knot in my stomach. I was really happy for her. Time goes by too quick. I see heaps of all of them so it is good. Loved Louis lying on the stairs what a character. It was beautiful seeing those Roderdemdrons gorgeous colours. My daughter and son both moved far away after high school. It about killed me. It’s a hard time and I’m so sorry you are going through it. You grieve. And it’s a grieving process you have to go through. But you do get used to them being gone- I promise, and then you realize you can start thinking about what you want for the next section of your life. I think Doug and I are bad dog owners. If we let Oliver off his leash, he wouldn’t stay close by. And when he get around other dogs, he starts humping them!!! I’m going to send him over to you to train so he will act like Louis. Lol. Aww Nisha I know exactly how you are feeling with Max moving out. My youngest who is 26 moved out 4 years ago, but he packed up his car and moved down to your neck of the woods from Scotland. He works for Virgin Atlantic. I was so proud of him but dying inside. Plus I couldn’t just pop in to see him. Think I only saw him 3 or 4 times a year for a couple of years. He’s my baby and I felt like my right arm had been cut off. Fortunately he now has a partner, and they bought an apartment back up in Edinburgh so is only about 40 mins away. Then last Oct my oldest Son bought an apartment but thankfully it’s only a couple of mins away from me and I see him at least once or twice a week, and I know he’s there anytime I want to see him. I’m so proud of both my boys for working hard and getting on the property ladder which is not easy these days, but boy do I feel it them not being around the house. As long as they are happy that’s all we can ask for. Good luck to Max and his Girlfriend as they start this journey together. Also big hugs to you as you learn to live with it, lol ❤️❤️ xx

Louis is hilarious on those stairs ! My one and only son left for three months to work in the US for his job . He met an American girl who is now his wife and they live in Texas. That was six years ago. I miss them dreadfully, and now they have a little baby. Thankfully I’m going to visit them soon but during Covid it was terrible because I hadn’t seen my son for two years. Nisha, Children have such a tug-of-war effect on our hearts. We love, nurture, and encourage our babies to grow-up to kind and responsible adults while feeling the continued desire to keep them close and protect them. I have 2 one married with a child and the other moving out in August. I’m just as stressed over him moving out as I was my daughter.. You could make Max’s room your YT studio with all your makeup and things in one place and not have to set up your camera every time you want to film. Louie was so cute on the stairs. 😊

Hi Nisha! Here I am, tearing up as you talk about Max moving out! I am the mother of 1 son also. I am so proud of you for talking it out and going to the gym to relieve the stress. I am very impressed by your exercises! I have bad knees and have had a lower back fusion so I am limited in my exercising. You are in great shape! I have to tell you that I love your short hair cut pulled over to the side, both straight and curled! You look so young! 😊 Poor Paul and his terrible accident! I'm glad that he is OK. Our big dog sleeps on his back like Louie but not on a step! Ha! You never know, sometimes the "little ones" fly back home a couple of times before they finally make the transition for good. Oh Nisha! 😢 I do feel for you. I still have 3 at home ranging from 14 to 24 but my 21 yr old moved out nearly 2 yrs ago along with the eldest during lockdown but the eldest came back! I promise you will get used to it eventually but I know it’s heart wrenching! 💔 I do admire you Nisha That you go and do that work out on your own! I go to two classes a week with other ladies , theyre not my friends but I enjoy the company and the music and I totally agree that exercise makes such a difference to your mental health . Today I’ve got the Monday blues but after my class tonight I’ll feel tons better 🙂 my hubbys head is just like Paul’s 😂😂 he catches it on everything and has a grade 1 Being follicley challenged 😬so it always looks far worse 😂 Louis is hilarious and looks so handsome with his new hair cut☺️ and by the way I love your hair this length it really does suit you! Thanks for a lovely vlog it was nice to watch it first thing for a change before i crack on with the shopping , housework , ironing etc etc 🙄😫😂🤗 xx

I have not had children, so i can't give any good advice. I still get so anxious. It's probably a good thing, I didn't have kids. I was decluttering for quit awhile and being in my "mess", totally drove me nuts. Louie was too adorable, sleeping on the step. Too damn cute!

Hi Nisha, Hearing you talk about Max moving out, brought back memories of my only son's move. It's a very emotional time. You're happy for them venturing out in their own, but still sad to see them go. You're lucky to be able to see him often too. 💜 My son & I live 1700 miles apart, it can be hard at times, but we visit each other and spend quality time together. My oldest is getting married this coming Saturday, the 14th! I spent the weekend (this past weekend) in northern Michigan (Traverse City) with the bride and her bridal party, Mom & sisters for her bachelorette weekend! It was a lot of fun. We had a beautiful house over looking an even more beautiful lake and amazing hot tub! Lol! On the way up (it was about a 3 hour drive) I got a little bored & so my brain got going & it hit me my kid is getting married in a week! The tears started falling! I said to myself this is stupid stop it! 😆 I’m already feeling anxious today! It’s going to be impossible to work this week! Thank heavens I have Friday off & I’m only working a half day Thursday. I’m getting some pampering done. The last thing is my toes & nails on Thursday. Friday is going to be for relaxing & playing some golf!! Take care! Have a great week! Oh and I loved the gym video! Good Morning Nesha, I'm from the US & It's now 3:48 in the morning, & It's lovely to see you. As far as Max, is going on his next adventure, be excited for him. Remember how you felt about getting your own first place to call your own. Think of It as bittersweet, because It is.Llife changes & yet we all survive, this is an exciting time for the next season of his life. That's helped me! Of course when he had all of his stuff out I was sad, I just kept remembering my first place. It will build his confidence, to feel empowered. That has become mums job now. One of my sons moved out 10 years ago and that was okay - he was close by and I still had his brother home. Four years ago his brother moved to a city four hours away. That was the one that tipped me and I'm still not over it - I miss him terribly. And yes, I have anxiety too. Fun times!

I still remember what I found in my Sons room after he moved out... cereal bowls with congealed milk & a spoon stuck in it under his bed!! It was gross! He wasn't allowed to take food up to his bedroom. but did it anyway! There were empty Dorito bags & gatorade bottles!! Good Girl for moving your clothes into Max's empty wardrobe!!! I'm so proud of you! Yesterday was Mother's Day in the USA & My Son sent me a Paper Bouquet of Hydrangeas, he told me that "they don't die & will last forever"! He also posted a song on my FB page... YES!! I Cried!! He just turned 33 (OMG!!!) He's Married & has 2 daughters & just got a promotion- I couldn't be more Proud! The 1 thing that Really Sucks is that he lives 1,966 Miles away from me on the East Coast in Virginia! 😪 You're gonna have to get Paul a Helmet! LOL Keep posting those gym workouts- 1 day you are going to motivate me to get my butt in the gym!🙄 XOXO From Montana

Oh Nisha, I want to give you the biggest hug! I know the feeling when my eldest moved out, and I dread my youngest flying the nest. At least Max is close and you can see him often! You will get used to it, but you never stop worrying. Your spring comes earlier than ours, I'm loving all the lush green and those rhododendron's are amazing! Hope those patches help poor Paul's head!

Hi Nisha - I can imagine how it must feel with Max leaving home. I have two sons and enjoy their company very much and it will be hard when they decide to go. Nisha so nice to hear that you are helping Max move. It is a new chapter and you can see Max and his girlfriend often. It is a major change but as you have said Max has had a good upbringing of which you and Paul have done amazing.Plus you can have regular contact,maybe having a nice dinner or going somewhere special. Nisha darling, you should be so proud, of yourself, &, of course your Max! You have it all together, so I am sure, Max does too! You & Paul have grown him up into a fine young man. Max, I am certain, wants you to be proud of him. Mothers have a special relationship with their sons, their boys. He will forever be that, for you. Now, as far as the "grieving "goes, it's real. I think by looking ahead to the milestones yet to come, the process will be easier! Unfortunately, I have no children. My husband and I, haven't been blessed. I have a poodle baby that gives me joy! But I do understand fully your sense of loss; I raised my 3 nieces. All grown up and gone now (29, 25, 21). They are living their best lives. I am happy for them, it does leave me sad sometimes, too! Knowing they are happy, makes me feel better! I wish this new chapter will bring you joy, peace, and much happiness, too!

Nisha, I remember feeling like I would be so excited for them to leave the nest but then I cried like a baby for days when the first got married and moved out and it certainly took a little while to adjust to them all 3 leaving. Thankfully it was at different times and they all live pretty close to us. Also, I’m a grammy now and that is wonderful ! ❤️

My children are grown and moved out. One is here in town but the other two live in different states! Oh my, I miss them so very much but thanks to texting and FaceTime, I can still see them pretty regularly.
