Just to explain some details you missed in this episode but the readers of the manhwa//novel knows, Jin Woo didn't kill Kim just because he tried to kill him, but if you read carefully the what he was saying, you will notice that he thinked he needed more man power to win and than he noticed the sword of Kim, he than used his attack to Barok to send the sword to Kim so he can attack him. That's why Kim said that Jin Woo know he would attack him and that's also why just before Kim attacked him, he (Jin woo) said that he used the mage attack to "buy some times" for Kim to attack and than Igris used the snow so that the humans doesn't see Jin Woo kill and Arise Kim.

Jinwoo didn't create that smokescreen to surprise the ice elf, he made the smokescreen so that the party wouldn't witness him killing Kim and making him a part of his party. It definitely wouldn't look good and it would cause a problem in the eyes of the public if they knew. The other people probably just think Kim was killed by the ice elf in the clash they had inside the smokescreen.

Years ago, Solo Leveling manhwa haters kept bashing it and now that it finally got an anime adaptation, we're seeing just how popular it is even among anime-only fans. It's literal crack cocaine. Someone at A-1 Pictures (director or producer) stated that they want/expect the Solo Leveling anime to surpass Sword Art Online and if you haven't watched SAO, it was a very popular anime like a decade ago.

Ron got this one on the level gap discussion. Jinwoo's extraction skill would depend on his personal level relative to the extract target so comparing Igris and the Ice Slayer leader is kind of pointless since Jinwoo's level has also changed since then. Also remember (think Ron was trying to clarify further with this) that Jinwoo in the previous episode acknowledged Igris may very well actually still be stronger than him (aka higher level). On this basis, to Ron's point, is it really just due to the level difference because the level gap between Jinwoo and Igris was also huge when he successfully extracted him? Another thing to bring up, which Michelle might've mentioned, is that Jinwoo did take multiple attempts to extract Igris though so level does impact it. We just don't know to what extent and if there was something else for the Ice Slayer leader. I've read the manhwa so I have the advantage of foresight but just wanted to aid the discussion here without spoiling anything. Keep the juicy theorizing going you guys! Baek judged He can beat Jinwoo but Baek will probably loose an arm. Baek is still stronger one to one but Baek has seen the Shadow army or Jinwoo's other abilities ( like full recovery) With his soldier Jinwoo can beat Baek

It's not entirely that he couldn't Summon Baruka/Barca cause of level cause Igris was also way higher than Jin Woo at the time it also because he has limited tries it just didn't work out that time withing the limit of 3 tries to summon him. And also it will also be answered in the future why some species are harder for him to summon unless futures conditions are fulfilled.
