Safe travels Luc. Good work on the upper cabinet. I don't know your lag time from build to post, but if you want to check out LED strip lights on Amazon, HitLight brand seem to be pretty good and I just grabbed some pretty cheap after they got price reduced. You could stick them right behind your bottom cabinet lip and light up the whole space. Good luck with the rest of the build. Looking forward to the sisters being back in on the action.

He passed away a few years ago. I would bring it to you but looks like long scenic ride from R.I. Maybe if you are are coming through or close by. I have a few old planes are other tools.

I don’t want to change the color too much at all so some type of simple clear protective coating most likely.

The one thing I've always wondered about is why upper cabinets are so shallow. Is there a requirement that says they can only be so deep??? Why can't they be deeper to give you more storage space??? I understand you don't want them to be "in your face" but since you are the one building them you could make them deeper!!!
