Carl I’m not just saying this but you are my favourite boxer in my lifetime. I’ll never forget being sat in my girlfriend’s (now wife) parent’s living room in 2008 and watching your war with Pascal. My jaw was on the floor throughout the fight and I literally didn’t miss a single round of boxing you had after that until you retired! Up until the end when I was on my knees in relief when you knocked out Groves! My only frustration is that I can’t find a similar fighter to follow now 😢

Yes we're all a bit peeved he's not willing to fight Benevidez but in an age where most guys have a few defences before being dethroned Canelo just keeps going and going. Yes Canelo is one of the greatest and he should fight Bivol again, but you have to ask after 65 fights, should he retire and enjoy his money. Boxing is a very dangerous game and you only have to look at what happened to Wilfred Benitez, one of the greats who couldn't stop fighting. Wilde is shot after his trilogy with Fury and he should retire. As for you Carl, come clean, Joe Calzaghe would have schooled you in the ring !

People saying wilder isn’t the same- He’s always been a worse boxer than Parker, and in his prime would have likely lost anyway Zhang could knock out anyone in the division, and he has a monster chin Wilder didn’t really land properly on either of Parker or Zhang So has his power gone? Has his chin gone? Has his boxing ability diminished? Him losing to someone genuinely outside of the top 15-20 would cement that. If he went out there and got ironed out by someone like Frazier Clarke, then fair enough his chins likely gone

Bivol gave him a boxing masterclass and only just scraped a decision off the judges. GGG beat him at least once in there trilogy.
