When I was a kid, a long time ago, we raised all of the vegetables we ate. We also raised 100 chicks a year. Did I enjoy that experience? Nope! But today, I'm grateful that I know how to grow and preserve food. You're teaching your sons valuable life lessons.

IT is Thanksgiving Day here and we just ate our Bacon Wrspped turkey I followed your directions and at 76 years old we just ate the best turkey any of us have ever eaten. Chad, i want to thank you for being on youtube. I was in the hospital for 7 days and i was able to watch you on my cell phone. I shared a room with 3 other women and they too fell in love with your channel, so i also told them about your brother and dad's channel. You keep it clean, real and most loving. I can't bring myself to do or witness the actual kill, but I have no issue cooking and eating the animals I raised. With that being said I also differentiate between our pets and our livestock for the benefit of my kids. We will occasionally pardon an animal if the kids have any issues of attachment to them.

I always knew pigs were smart but I didn't know the cattle was so smart. I love watching them come running when they hear you come out. I love how Fred eats from your hand and looks forward to his head rub. I appreciate your videos. I know it takes time to put them together.
