As you can see Shai only beats Jokic in Steals and PPG. Jokic decimates him in mostly every other stat category under the sun. There's levels to this and Shai wasn't even close. Jokic was so far ahead in the MVP convo that they had to try and make it interesting by including Shai and making it look like he has a chance.

Anthony Edwards is a bona fide class act, especially when compared to older, supposedly more mature players, who often without hesitation blame coaching staff and teammates before they take responsibility for a horrible overall performance. I mean, just compare post-game interviews of Edwards versus LeBron, AD, etc. and you'll wonder why it's the young guy who displays such maturity and sportsmanship.

Draymond says that like the Joker didn't cook his ass a few seasons back in the first round when he had zero help and Murray still wasn't healthy. All these analysts do themselves a disservice with all the reactionary dunking they try to do on Joker. Hes one of the greatest players we have ever seen. He makes average players so much better and does it with no ego. Hes a selfless team player who wants to win and lifts up his teammates. Hell go down as one of the 15 greatest players ever when its all over. Lots of people will hate it....and you have to wonder why....

It's all Shaq's fault. When Shaq dissed Joker in the MVP award presentation, he woke the sleeping giant, poked the bear, grabbed the tiger by the tail, played with fire, opened Pandora's box, let the dogs out, lit the fuse, unleashed the kraken, tugged on Superman's cape, spit into the wind, pulled the mask off the old Lone Ranger and messed around with Jim.

Jokic is at the least a generational talent , and almost assuredly headed for a 1st ballot HOF career. He is the most versatile NBA center I have ever seen. If he sustains this quality of play over a career, he will be the best to play the center position ever. Sorry he's white. It seems this fact bothers people to the point of being blatantly racist and quite disturbing.
