Just realised I can hear all audio properly and now there’s match footage to coincide with coach’s comments. Fox (finally) upped their game.

Next stage is the key though. He’s dragged us up to the mid-pack and that’s great, but whether we’ve got that little bit extra to sit safely in the 8 will be what counts. Really no reason why we shouldn’t be able to manage that now - somewhere around 6-8 on the ladder would do.

Tigers played better in the first half, few drops balls and handling error gave us the sniff, but no one predicted this second half, we're playing similar against Cowboys then after Raymond's missed opportunity we didn't see their try line, against Dog's we played well first half then Bird's got injured game gone, Tigers lost game after game this season but they weren't cake walk

Everyone’s a critic It doesn’t matter if they played against an NRLW team, backing up only 2 days after playing a physical game takes a toll on your body.

Dragons did well to wrestle back momentum. Tigers defensive line speed was hectic first 15mins but then they Tigered themselves out of the game. Dragons look good. They were my early season dark horses with Manly.

Tiger thru and thru here. I feel for Kyle. He's had a difficult run in his career and that was one hell of a try. The game is so strange these days. That kind of effort should be rewarded. He should be proud.

What a joke that the NRL is looking judiciously at mid-air collisions when they created this monster by highlighting contesting 'the bomb' to enhance audience excitement. For years, the bomb was banned in junior football because of the risk of injury, and the Americans have the 'fair catch' rule in the NFL so their kick receivers don't end up in wheelchairs. They also have a 'down' rule so you don't have to cripple a ball-carrier to effect a tackle. The NRL is over one hundred years behind the times with regard to player safety.

@@QwidgyboMan Do you mean destroying the current way the game is played and how the rules have changed and adjudicated, or do you mean destroying the sanctity of the game, they way it was played, say, in the 60s, or prior to that? John Peard is credited with the instigation of the bomb in 1966 when the game was under the unlimited tackle rule. If you think it's fair that a player with his eyes to the sky on the ball can be smashed by an attacking player, then you have a different idea of football to mine. Since I referenced American football, I'll point out that a receiving player can signal by rotating his arm while the ball is in the air that he wants a chance to take a 'fair catch', and no player can impede him catching the ball and getting smashed. And if you were loading up to say something like, 'This is not American football,' well we took the 4 tackle rule in 1967 from the NFL's 4 down rule, and eventually moved it up to the 6 tackle rule. In American football they have a saying, "You can't run on your knees." So when your knee hits the ground, you're down. You don't have players twisting and turning and having to have knee reconstructions because of gang tackles.
