The homeowner is happy, but the neighborhood is probably ecstatic over the cleanup and transformation. Love to see those old granite street markers. Not many left. Corner lots are a tremendous amount of work. Like twice the yard as their neighbors yard. Homeowners age, medical situations arise, but the yard keeps growing. A corner lot is expensive to have cut .cutting one area a time is usually the answer if the homeowner can cut it. No judgement on corner lots, but hate corner lots. Been an owner of one for 40 years and still cut mine every week. Lol

People who live in the middle of the neighborhood don't always mow their lawns, too! Both my corner neighbors have beautiful manicured lawns. The new next door neighbor on my right side, she rents out the house to questionable renters, hmm🤔... She rarely has her lawn taken care of. The people who used to live in that house, always took care of their yard. Since the lady bought that house, she rents it out and she lives in another city. We had to tell her she has a gopher now because we saw little mounds of fresh dirt in her yard and since we're in a HOA, she might get a letter in her mail to warn her she will get fined if her yard isn't cleaned up and that she has a gopher problem. She did get her yard clean (She visits the home once a month, I think they're her relatives). She never took care of that gopher and then it came to our yard! 🤦♀️.. We called an exterminator right away. He put a trap and had it taken care of and we paid for it. That new homeowner was so flippant about the gopher problem. Next time I see her, I just might give her the exterminator bill! Lol..And she let go of a gardener who did a great job but she told us the gardener was too expensive, she drives a brand new BMW. We see her out there trying to mow the lawn. Shotty job. I don't know why the renters don't, they're not old people.🙄
