I agree, I’m fully disabled and on disability, below poverty level, and it’s important to me that my lawn and neighborhood look good. I was raised as a military brat and on base your lawn has to be pristine so I grew up mowing the lawn. I love seeing a beautiful, trim lawn. Since I’ve become disabled, even though I often don’t have money for food, I have to pay $90 a month to have my lawn mowed and edged. That’s actually an act of kindness by a company that will only charge me $45 every other week. Doing something that might be easy and trivial to many, means the world to people that don’t have the ability and/or means. Thank you for having the heart to help those in need.

My dad owned his own embroidery business, and he always used to say "never underestimate the value of a free sample." In his business, that meant someone was out their wearing his work for the public to see and ask about. The same goes for you and those lawns. Word of mouth is a powerful tool. He also took his riding lawnmower around and would mow yards for free when he saw them overgrown, but that's just because he was a caring person, not because of business. All I know is those values made him very successful in his time.

All they do is whine about how nobody helps them while at the same time they happily report anyone for anything they imagine they have done wrong or just don't like and have done so many times the local law and emergency crews will not respond to calls from them anymore. Kinda hard to have sympathy for the person in the neighborhood that will call the cops on the guy who works 15 and 30-day rotations in the oil fields for not having mowed his yard for a month. I hate when people doing that. If I do something for free say thank you or pay the full price. I build the Pc from my neighbor and installed it. I offered to do it and was happy to do it and after I invested like 7 hours there. He insisted on giving me 20 Euro and after that you just feel like he doesn't value your time. It suggest that you are trying to compensate the person for their good deed as if it were a service. A awful compensated service.

As a former landscaper and mower I like what you do, helping people the way you do and still able to make a buck from YT. Wasn't around when I was doing this so a little jealous. PRO-TIP at 15:00 when you went to lift that panel from the ground, be very careful as something like that is highly desirable for snakes. It looks like you live an an area prone for Copperheads and the like. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Love your vids. EDIT; when you turned down that tip at the end and what you said, I gained a whole new respect for you. Good job man!

@@timwilde4200grew up in Port Hedland, worked for the council as a gardener. Once found two brown snakes under a panel with two bluetoungues and a huge goanna, all just hangin out under there, wondering who turned on the lights all of a sudden.
@timwilde4200 Жыл бұрын
@@duanehirini2078 That's funny. I lived by the Murray river in Sth. Australia for ten years, and having browns hanging about the house was pretty common. I had a yard set up to one side for the dogs to do their business and snake-proofed it as much as I could. I came out one day to find all four of them casually sunning themselves - with a dead brown lying on the ground, all chewed up! I raced them to the vet (3 kelpies and a malamute) in a panic, thinking at least one must have been bitten, but after observing them for a few hours the vet said they were fine. All I could think was that the mal was the one that attacked the snake and that the very thick fur around her neck had protected her when she chewed the snake by the neck. Doesn't always work out that way - I lost one of the kelpies and a pet goat to the browns.

@@jackiewallace9231 I hate the tip culture. I am SOOOO happy he refused the tip. People need to learn to appreciate without money. Money is for contracts and business and so on. This was a gesture of goodwill. You cannot tip goodwill. You just have to pass it on ... or pay it forward as they say.
