So sorry, but at the end of the video I should've said, "He is being considered for a Doctor of the Church." Unless I missed something, I don't think he is...yet!

St Louis de Montfort was extraordinary in every way. It’s amazing he lived to 43. Nothing was remotely easy for him. I have read his writings on the Rosary. The constant suffering of this Saint brings immediate love to the heart for his extraordinary zeal and heroic virtue. Thanks be to God for all the graces given to this great Saint.

I don't know how I came across a copy of True Devotion To Mary as a 23 year old Methodist. I kept sneaking off to local diners and cracking open that book along with some of John Henry Newman's writings on the Blessed Virgin. About three years later I was confirmed and united with Holy Mother Church. I can't say enough about how the writings of Saint Louis de Montfort were used over the years to provide a sort of formation in my growing understanding about Our Lady. I love Saint Louis de Montfort and count him as a great and generous friend. Thank you God for your holy saints. Through these living tabernacles we discover you enshrined over and over again. All glory to God, Father, Son and Holy Ghost!

That's a particularly sharp outfit and hat today. 😂😂 I'm still praying the Rosary every day. When I don't find intention requests online I pray for all the people and animals in pain or confinement, that they be freed or at least let their suffering be applied to the purification of their souls so they go straight to Our Lord and Lady after death.

Thank you for your tireless good work!! This side story I did not know. Fr Pillari from REGINA ANGELORUM PRESS passionately thought and guided us to 33 days of preparation for the Consecration to Jesus through Mary multiple times in the past, which I could do, and I thank for Our Blessed Mother and St. Louis de Montfort ❤

Thank You Mathew for these Videos, they truly mean the world the world to me! Such great Catholic media is soo important, and especially of these great saints like St. Louie De Montfort and St. Don Bosco. Also Off topic and if you do see this comment, I was wondering if you will be at the March for life in DC this year with TFP? I would love to meet you there and thank you in person. You have done so much for these communities on KZbin you have fostered and grown.

In French it’s Louie not Louis
@catholicmenspodcast13 күн бұрын
Yes, I'm aware of that having studied French while living in France. But I'm American and this is for an English speaking audience. I'm going to say it how we would normally say it. Similar to how the English book, "Forty Dreams of Saint John Bosco," does not refer to that incredible Italian saint as "Giovanni." However, it's still spelled "Louis" in French, though they pronounce it differently than in English.
