This is a rare situation where all parties involved are completely at fault. Josh Giddey was completely careless and lazy when vetting out women, the minor deceived him, and the minor’s parents or guardians were at best clueless that their teenager was going to 21+ bar/clubs in the OKC area, or at worst willfully ignorant to these actions she was taking. All around sad for all involved, it will probably impact their lives. Also, Adam Silver and the league’s front office is starting to look a little racist in how they are handling this. Not saying that they are yet as I understand how investigations work but fans are justified to look at them sideways right now.

I completely agree that all parties are at fault. But I don’t agree on the racism part. I mean just look at the way Karl Malone is still treated by the league, they act like everything he did off the court didn’t happen at all. I don’t think it’s racism, I think they just don’t take stuff like this serious. The league doesn’t really take anything too serious it seems.
