I'll give this to the devs, they really managed to make that cave appealing because it has to be the third or fourth time I've seen people lured by it! 😂

It's always sadening when the biggest morale support from a game is in such a state when you find them again in their brooding period. Sydon's the purest boy we'll ever have in any Zelda game and seeing him smiling again at that moment was one of the best part I had experienced.

I did Sidon’s quest second solely because I found out about his fiancee and wanted to just rip the bandaid off. On another note, they’re cute together. I also love how stoked he is to just be Link’s best friend. He’s like Speedwagon from JJBA, no wonder so many people love him.

I’ve been playing this game nearly non-stop and only done three major quests. Haven’t even got all of the geoglyphs. But I love that the geoglyphs replace the memory hunting, because it gives people a set area to hunt around rather than go to this vaguely mountainy looking spot and pray you see a shiny light.

To be fair it takes me forever playing this game casually. I barely made progress myself. I end up walking everywhere and getting distracted when I wanted to head to the desert. Hell I haven't even found hestu yet and I got caught up saving a village for my first side quest and that was a trek and a half

The Phantom Ganon reaction was literally me lol Exact same situation (but I was clothed and had more hearts so it was a bit easier). Lindor Brow Cave just exploring and out of nowhere this monster shows up. So nuts. Because of the open nature of the game and the fact that I havent beaten it its hard to find gameplay videos I find safe to watch so Im so glad I found yours because I wanted to see someone elses reaction to Phantom Ganon so bad

as the damage is tied to your max hp they’re actually pretty bad early game, it’s not until much later that they get better

@@Ashurman666 the swords, spears, and clubs you get are some of the best in the game? regardless of when you get them. Gloom toll is a little iffy if you don’t have much health, but you heal the gloom at about the same pace you’ll collect it so long as you’re above ground. even with 3 hearts they’re useable if you just don’t get greedy, and without fusion they can take out blue bokos in a few hits

@@Sumbol7224 They really aren't THAT good, especially if you use them in the depths. You can make weapons that are as good or even better that don't have the detrimental effects of affecting you with Gloom and you don't even have to go too far to make them.

Okay, but hear me out. The relationship between Link and Sidon is romantic OR friendship, it's family. Sidon knows Link is the person Mipha planned to marry, he knows that in another life Link would have become his older brother. And I believe that even 100 years on, that still more or less how he sees us. The way he gushes about how awesome Link is and how Link can do anything, it's exactly the way he talks about Mipha. It's the pure unadulterated love a little brother who ttuly believes their big sister/brother is the strongest and the coolest and the bestest in the whole wide world.

The challenge shrines are so hard but funny (Nintendo making us run over robots). The Depths are so not my thing, they make me go so panicky.
